      I got into a wreck in 05/20 I have had NOTHING but problems with my insurance company GEICO. I simply can NOT get this place to resolve my accident. I had full coverage and full tort on my accident. I have called close to every day for over 2 years to resolve this accident and even hired an attorney as I got hit by a drunk driver and it wasn’t even my fault. I bought a custom built Jeep 5 months before the accident, my Jeep is over heating the hood is rippled, the fenders are melting away from the body, I can only drive it short distances because the engine is steaming. No one from GEICO calls me back. I have an older Jeep that was garage kept that I never drove. I added it to my policy through the app so I could drive it. One day a year and a half later my daughter drove it to school on a snowy day and she hit a snow bank. We did call the police as we did want everything to be legal. It was on my policy along with 6 other vehicles, we have been with GEICO probably 15 years. We have never had an accident or so much as a ticket. GEICO’S app never even asks you what kind of coverage you want on your policy when adding a vehicle to your policy and ALL of my vehicles have full coverage. So as with all my other vehicles having full coverage we too thought the Jeep we had been driving would have full coverage. How many people add their cars through their app and have liability and get in wrecks and GEICO gets away with not having to pay for their accidents! Absolutely terrible customer service!!! When my daughter hit the snow bank with my other Jeep and I called GEICO they told me that my vehicle only had liability HOW!!!??? This has been the worst insurance company ever!! I have literally been paying all these insurance premiums now for vehicles I can’t even drive because I can’t get them to actually fix my vehicles I have been paying insurance premiums for and for an insurance company that won’t even return my calls EVER! I am out of my mind w/ stress.

      Worst coverage ever! Don't waste your money! Waiting in a parking for 6 hours scared to death for my life. Had to pay 350 out of my pocket and never will insure with them again. Hiring an attorney to sue them.

      Geico use to be a reputable company I think but after being a loyal customer which by the way we are the only loyal parties today, Geico has taken a much different path regarding how they treat their customers. They don’t require YOUR signature if there is a policy change. THEY simply drop coverage without your consent/signature of proof and then deny coverage if it is needed in the future. Case in point. We had glass coverage and according To their rep either I or my wife request that it be dropped which we did not. We also had rental insurance and when needed it disappeared. So here is what a less than reputable company did. They simply dropped our glass coverage as well as our rental insurance and when we were in need we had to fight to find out why these were dropped. Not one rep had any concrete answers but thanked us for being loyal customers for 23 years. This is his GEICO treats loyal customers. If negative stars existed, I’d gladly choose 5.GEICO will not respond as they are spineless I——!

      Insurance coverage was cancelled due to non-payment - I thought I was enrolled in auto-pay, and Geico claims I was not.
      Regardless, Geico did not inform me of this cancellation (via email, phone, or any other means). If I hadn't logged into my online profile I would have *never* known about this coverage cancellation. Potentially an incredibly dangerous and finacially ruinous situation.
      In this case, the cancellation was in effect for less than 12 hours.

      However, I could not simply restart my policy at my pre-existing rate.
      I was instructed to submit for a new quote online, and re-fill out *all* my information.
      Unsurprisingly, Gieco used this opportunity to raise my rates substantially.
      When I requested they honor the original quote that I had been paying for the prior 6 months, I was denied and told there was absolutely nothing that could be done.
      Customer not only lacked empathy but were remarkably unhelpful.

      I would advise all others to strongly consider alternatives when searching for insurance coverage.

      Where do I start? Geico is nothing but a RIP OFF I don’t even understand how they’re still able to do this to people… Amongst the million other issues with Geico I had an open claim they sent me a “secured” link to me to complete the payment I put all the correct information on my account the same information that I’ve been using all my life hmm funny and strange how they couldn’t authenticate my information and was sending a check in 7-10 days once I called they said they couldn’t do anything for 24 hours to stop the information 24 hours after that they said I had to wait another 24 hours geico is a joke they don’t hesitate to take payments but hesitate to give payments make it make sense. They need to be stopped!

      After purchasing a new home & was on the hunt for an insurance policy. I called the 1-800 number and started the process with a friendly representative. I disclosed that we had 2 pit bulls- in service training and a 10 yr. old daughter with autism. During the final steps before payment of the whole policy, I was informed that Geico and its affiliates will not insure us.
      The reason given was dogs breed and age of child in the home. This was followed up with the agent asking if we wanted to switch our auto policies to them. No, no and **** no, I refuse to do any sort of business with this company from here on out. Had the above not happened perhaps the truck, car, jeep, motorcycles and life insurance policies would have been added.
      Remember folks you're in good hands with ********!

      When my policy was up for renewal my monthly payment doubled. I called and asked why and two different agents said that the reason that my payment increased was because of a cell phone ticket in California. 2 years ago. Cell tickets are not moving violations. I started looking for quotes and *** insurance was the first to tell me the reason my policy increased was because of an at fault accident on someone else’s Geico policy. Effective 8/20 I have cancelled my Geico policy. I cannot be paying a company that is bout being truthful to me.

      As a former employee I knew this company was out there to scam you and unfortunately my GF got messed up dealing with a claim on their end. Wasted time on automatic SIU investigation due to them claiming policy was open for only 2 months when in facts it’s been over a year. They then began repairs before veh owner/insured even authorized it with no contact indicating what’s going to repaired/replace then telling us that shop might not be able to match the paint and even include the ARX warranty. upon finding a shop that’s capable the shop then stated we owe them for tear down/admin fees. In usually fashion geico said they aren’t responsible lol

      Paid for full coverage for years on my super nice clean truck and had them tow it due to a sensor going out using the towing through them that i pay for with my full coverage. Well my truck get dropped off with a winch hook dragged through the frame of my truck. Frame is twisted and truck undrivebale upon contacting them i was belittled, and basically put down the whole time sent somwbody to my house with the most awful body language to tear me down and blame us and spent 20 minutes yelling at mw that i did and i k ow how i did it go to the point he made my young son cry. When i asked to have my attorney join the conversation. He numped in his car and left and within hours my claim was denied we were blocked form even making calls to pay are bill this has been the most devasting thing my family has had to go through from a company we pay to protect and help us in these situations
