      The garbage collecting crew from this company broke my trash can on 5/14. Submitted the complaint on 5/15, and they reached out today (5/22) saying that they need to investigate the damaged can. Given the hot and humid weather recently, I had no choice but to replace and ditch the lidless, dirty, smelly, broken can. I bought a new one at my own cost for $100.67. The company has a policy to replace/reimburse the trash can if broken by their operation. They declined to reimburse me because I don't have the broken one anymore, which I had no reason to keep.

      On June 17th at 1:24pm the recycling truck owned by Ecology Services (the ******** location) was on the street collecting recycling. When they got to my house, my cans were set at the end of the driveway with my car parked about 25 to 30 feet away. When the gentleman took the recycling cans (there were 2 this day), he shoved them back and hit my car. The can fell over and was laying against my bumper. When I went out to took and saw damage, I took a photo right away and you can see the recycling can reflection in my photo. I checked my security cameras and was able to get time stamps of when it happened. I emailed the county right away to let them know what happened and I wasn't a reply back that my information was being sent over to Ecology Services and that I should hear from them soon. A guy named **** called and said he was the supervisor at their ************* and that he would stop by to take a look at the damage. After stating he would show up 3 times, he never showed then finally on the 4th time, July 3rd he showed up. He got out of his truck walked up to my car and immediately turned around as if he was going to leave so I walked outside. I asked him if he needed to speak with me or needed me to come out and he said no he would take a few pictures type up a report and then I would hear from them in a few days. After a month I'm not hearing from him after numerous phone calls and text messages to his cell phone and the office I reached out to the county who told me that it was Ecologies responsibility and that I should hear from them soon. Now I'm being told that my claim was denied because he doesn't see evidence of damage even though there are pictures and times stamped evidence from my camera footage. Now I cannot get any response from anybody with Ecology from the ******** or the ******** location. I have been trying for 3 months to get my car fixed and nobody will answer phone or call me.
