      This complaint is in regard to an ongoing documented formal appeal and informal, with Maryland Physicians Care. I would like this to serve as a record of my efforts to seek accountability and resolve the issue.Repeated submissions and denial of my WeGovy prescription which is part of my ongoing treatment via Gastric surgery for better health and perquisite for medically necessary breast reduction surgery for reduction in BMI. This was authorized as an ongoing part of treatment prior to my fleeing to MD from **. As a result of the previously stated, lack of accountability or incompetence of the employees, and non-admittance of the lack thereof for continued care, I have encumbered additional symptoms of severe stress from all this nonsense. A lack of medical care since December 20th of last year. As of the submission date 03.21.25, the prescription was submitted and denied fifteen (15) times since December 20th. Ms. ********** has been without necessary medical care since December of the previous year, and the issue persists into the second quarter of the current year. oKeeping in mind the aforementioned, *** has ignored my ongoing concerns regarding lack of care. 1) **** ****** was informed by her boss that she did not have to do anything to help me. As a result, she did not. She sent me a list of emails leaving me to do this on my own. Unfortunately, she was not of much assistance anyway. 2) The mere fact is that there has not been any accountability of the current ongoing submissions of appeal and prescription for whatever reason has been lost. (Confirmed from Dr ***** ***** Office of which submitting for a second time.) ?I have been denied an expediate appeal. Based on the information per their website and my extenuating circumstances I do qualify.?If your doctor or MPC feels that your appeal should be reviewed quickly due to the seriousness of your condition, you will receive a decision about your appeal within three business days."

      I've had maryland physicians care insurance for for a long time, I battle with colitis flare ups, and I am also anemic and require iron infusions ( iron supplements do not work , the stomach issues I have causes my body not to absorb them , and they also hurt my stomach so much worse) they used to cover my infusions , and it was helping so much, then all the sudden they started denying them for no reason. Then the time before last they covered it again, but now it's been 10 months and my blood count is low again and they denied it!!! I looked up the criteria and they are denying me without cause, My blood count is the lowest it's ever been now , and way lower than there criteria. I am disgusted with how I am being treated. It is making it hard for me to get out of bed to go to work because I feel so bad. They need to follow their own guidelines and be consistent.
