    Went in for a my check engine light and found out that the OBD port was damaged. The shop manager tried to say I did it because I had an insurance port that you use to get cheaper rates. That he saw on the door. But he was wrong, we switched insurance companies and found cheaper insurance. They were the only ones working on my car. I didn’t even know how it was until I took it to the dealer. But that’s a whole other story. He went over some brief times I’ve was in the shop, but tit never added up. This AAA is usually on top of its game in its accountability department. One thing was for sure a past or present technician did that damage. The dealer has informed me it came by way of another mechanic not knowing what he was doing and not saying nothing. He says it happens all the time. Him being honest said no one would know if he chip or broke something while doing a job. It takes “integrity”! When I told him what AAA shop manager said to me, he said there could be a chance it happened there but they didn’t have the electrical specialist to perform the work possibly. I don’t know it I’ll continue to go to this AAA repair shop. This was by far my worst experience. But they do have a habit of coming up short on the work. They even check my air. I didn’t even bother to mention it. They did repair it over 2 months ago and still after a $1000 still warm to cool air. That’s after the $177 diagnostic. Cry me a river! Now this. I wasn’t one to argue with the guys up front. They just passing the mail and doing their job. I left in Gods hand. Be careful when going here sometimes. The customer service exceptional! The work and integrity, questionable!
