They are abusive , they do t care about the building they manage all they care is about how to make money from people like us that can’t afford an increase of 29% in a building that is already expensive to live with a maintenance fri about 900 and Kenneth B**** doesn’t care about older people living in this building Carolyn Condominium . He is abusive on the extra fees he adds for anything he think is ok for him . , always looking a new way to make us pay him more money .we need a new management company for Carolyn Condominium.QUASAR

It's crucial to clarify that Quasar functions as the management company overseeing day-to-day operations, but decisions regarding fees and services rest with the Association's board. The Board actively reviews the Association’s past, current, and future anticipated expenses including ongoing operational expenses, maintenance and repairs, capital improvements, and required reserves. In analyzing all these figures, the Board then determines a budget for the Association each year. That budget must meet the financial needs of the Association. Quasar has a management contract with the Association, that contract is a fixed price contract, and is only a small piece of the Association’s overall budget.
The Board recognizes the significance of financial considerations, especially when facing a proposed increase. Quasar encourages you to engage with the Board during regularly scheduled board meetings and/or through all other communication channels available to you for you to express your concerns. All owners’ feedback is helpful to the Board in helping guide the Board when making decisions regarding your community.Review fromJames W

Quasar Property Management is a Awful Company with a Awful owner!! I would not recommend anyone to do business with them!! One of my family members has live at City View Condominium for over 20 years with no problems until Kenneth B**** came along. When I say Kenneth B**** has destroyed and terrorized that community it is an understatement. Because of Kenneth the community is on the verge of going bankrupt. NOT one single improvement has been made to the property. EVERYTIHNG about him and his company is deceptive. He is telling people that they owe when they don't. He is foreclosing of peoples property without warning or working with the person. All he has done is pad his pockets and caused an array of problems. He appears he saw an opportunity to take advantage of the small black community in SE Washington, DC. Its just sad.QUASAR

Quasar serves as the management company overseeing day-to-day operations, and while we understand the frustrations expressed, it's important to clarify that the board is responsible for setting fees and determining services provided. The Board actively reviews the Association’s past, current, and future anticipated expenses including ongoing operational expenses, maintenance and repairs, capital improvements, and required reserves. In analyzing all these figures, the Board then determines a budget for the Association each year. That budget must meet the financial needs of the Association. Quasar has a management contract with the Association, that contract is a fixed price contract, and is only a small piece of the Association’s overall budget.
In terms of delinquencies, the Board provides instructions and guidance to Quasar for delinquent owners. Quasar makes every effort to work with owners and their financial abilities to institute payment plans to fulfill their obligation to the Association. When owners fail to comply with, or meet their financial obligations, the Board communicates to Quasar, and this may result in liens or the foreclosure of properties. Quasar is committed to providing consistent notices and working with owners facing financial disparities. Foreclosure is a last resort, and we strive to find solutions that benefit both parties. We extend the same level of respect and commitment to owners of all the associations we manage. If your family member believes there is a discrepancy, we welcome them to address it with our finance department for a thorough review.Review fromCraig W

no hot water in the middle of cold weather in January! no hot water for 5 days!! we had to end up staying in a hotel for 5 days! no refunded at all. there were constant issues. just you name it. it was worst experience I ever had in my life.QUASAR

As a property management company, we manage the property on behalf of the Association and act upon the instructions of the Board. Each owner in the association carries insurance that is designed to address and cover these types of situations. The association, in accordance with its governing documents, is responsible for the maintenance, repairs, and associated costs related to the common areas and shared infrastructure. While we understand your disappointment regarding the lack of reimbursement, it is important to note that Quasar, as the property management company, does not have the authority to provide reimbursements. I love Quasar. I never had a dull moment with them within the year I rented from them. They handled all issues effectively and immediately.. They were caring and kind. Not sure how some say they are rude, because I never got that I recommend them hands down. Great company and staff!!!!!QUASAR
