From the very start with our Sales Representative Sean, gave the impression this team was quite knowledgeable, and gave us a comfortable feeling like they were right team to work with for our move. Deb was fantastic! She kept us in the loop the entire way. So we really appreciated that constant communication. Also both her, and Sean patience we greatly appreciated as I'm sure we asked a million and one questions. The move team (and I'm sorry I'm bad with names), was also awesome. They showed up on time, with a super positive attitude, protected all of our items in a suburb manner to where everything made it to our new home okay, and with no damages. Really appreciated how flawless the move went, and how the team was able to make it as stressless as possible (also got some great show recommendations that we cant wait to watch one day!). Great job, and would recommend to family and friends. Also professionally if the opportunity ever arises.

Von Paris provided outstanding service before during and after our move. The entire staff, from the office group to our on-site movers, was professional and friendly and went over and above expectations to make sure that the move went smoothly and was worry-free. 5 starsExcellent experience with this company. We revised the inventory list about 4 times and each time I rec'd the new listing promptly. The moving crew was exceptional -- very organized, polite and cheerful. The sales rep and coordinator were so helpful in explaining all of the factors involved in the move. I had to change my moving date 4 times and each time the coordinator was extremely understanding and helpful. I was referred to this company from my realtor. While I do not trust any moving company, I decided to go with this one. Everyone was pleasant to deal with from the person who came to the home for the no obligation quote to the actual movers. The office staff was very nice and were quick to respond when I e-mailed. I had an agreement with Von Paris International to ship my personal effects from Washington DC to be delivered to ******* ******* Botswana, during the COVID-19 Pandemic per the information below; including the sudden loss of my son...
Charges: $16,320.00 Includes the shuttle in DC; Monthly Storage; Handling Charges;Fuel Surcharge;
SERVICE TYPE: Door to Door. 40’ container
VOLUME: 2237 cu.ft. / 15,000 lbs.
PACKING: Included INSURANCE: $2.50 per $100 of Value; including terms & conditions of the contract.
Towards the end of packing the price was up to $31,000.00; whose receipt I'm still waiting for, for my income tax filing. Neither have they sent me the money for going over the contract amount and explaining how it came about. US14,680.00 without any written justification or explanation, and receipt for my income tax 2022 filing is definitely questionable. I've contacted the manager for answers after the effects were delivered for a detailed justification and receipt of same in writing; but to-date he's stuck to verbal speculation which he failed to share with me while his company was packing & picking up effects from October 7, 2021; until June 27, 2022. Process was going on while I was upgrading my home for sale. No empathy from the officer assigned to assist me even when I pointed it out...while she duplicated my invoices; the last of which was for "$15,714.00, to be paid in full required prior to sailing"--when I'd already paid $13,00+ for the pack & pick up, storage, fuel surcharge, etc; as stipulated in the original contract. Had to rush back home for another family emergency in mid-June ahead of the container; and waited for the delivery of the container which finally sailed on 10/21/22 making it to my doorstep on 01/13/23 which was a relief... I am certain that Von Paris overcharged me and they should reimburse me. They never wrote to me regarding the extra charges until I rendered my complaint of being overcharged. If you want a professional, experienced, caring company and want peace of mind throughout your move, I highly recommend Von Paris. Von Paris is the best moving experience we have ever had. We are military veterans, have moved several times...each time was an ordeal. I had contacted other movers to get estimates, when Von Paris sent a letter to our home. That letter sparked my interest in them. I researched all movers that I was getting estimates from, Von Paris was rated the best. From start to finish, all representatives were very professional, knowledgeable, responsive and friendly. They took EXCELLENT care of both our homes (the one we sold, the one we were moving to) as well as all our items. It felt like family and close friends moving us. Link, Deb-b, Sean, Robbie, David, Andre - you all are the VERY bestest ever!! Von Paris is extremely fortunate to have all of you as their representatives!! We could not have had a better experience and a more thoughtful, careful, friendly, and accommodating team. Due to the type of stairs in the house they hauled most pieces of furniture for the walkout level around the house over a hill then down a slope then across some lawn and finally into the house. It was more difficult to the second floor due to the same turning staircase but with no other option. Everything was delivered and put together and in the same condition as when they first arrived to move it from the house we were leaving. More than 40 large pictures in glass and 3 large televisions were all expertly packed and protected, everyone arriving safely and secure. Several went above and beyond by dealing with a difficult neighbor, making them feel listened to and more than appeasing their concerns. I’m left with three huge impressions: great people working for Von Paris, a worry-free experience and worth every penny.B. Von Paris & Sons, Inc.

5 starsVon Paris was fantastic from the moment we made contact until the job was completed. Jackie and Mark arranged and estimated everything, and worked with us on pickup and delivery timing. Ken, Otis, Cliff and Xavier were the best moving crew we’ve experienced, and we’re speaking from experience as we moved 17 times during my military career. Thanks Team Von Paris!!
