      Foster Dental Group Baltimore Location failed to disclose misleading information to me as their client that is advertised on their website that they provide professional cleaning using a "fluoride treatment and polish" However, this information is misleading as they never provided me with a dental fluoride cleaning. On 1/16/23, at I had a dental appointment for a fluoride cleaning. I was never made aware to prior or during that I would not be given a fluoride cleaning. I was only made aware that I did not receive a fluoride cleaning after I noticed that I had red pasty stuff I was rinsing out my mouth that was not given a fluoride cleaning only cleaned my teeth with toothpaste. I asked if on 12/18/19, if I received a fluoride cleaning that I had booking for my initial visit to the office. I was told "no." I have never had a fluoride cleaning at the office. I am devastated to learn that I service that I thought was being administered only to find out I never received a service I thought I was receiving. No one returned my phones calls or spoke with me to address my concern or refund. Instead, when I attempted to call the office about my concern I was met with hostile, disrespectful, and unprofessional employees, and dentist. Acted in bad faith. I, in good faith try to resolve issue with company. If the parties were only going to offer a cleaning with toothpaste that information should have been disclosed to me prior appointments, but it was never disclose Requested for refund of $427.00. An attempt was made to have a refund but was told that the Timonium is the only office that can process a refund. However, upon contacting their office, I was told personnel is on vacation. They continue to act recklessly, negligent, and misleading.
      The reimbursement of payment payable as certified U.S Postal money order or bank cashier's check in the full amount. If money not refunded, further action and increased monetary damages will be sought.

      Emails are provided as evidence of the company's continued fictious acts as the office manager is now fraudulently saying she gave me a fluoride treatment and never did.



      I was only contacted on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, in which the Office manager called my phone and left a voicemail to offer a fluoride treatment.



      In which do to their illegal and hostile behavior I again asked for a refund per my complaint to shop for another dentist to provide the service they never gave me that I had requested. I have documented all email correspondence and phone records.

      Ms. Green first came to our office on Dec 19, 2019 and received an Initial Exam, Prophylaxis (prophy) and Xrays.

      On June 30, 2020, she failed to show for her scheduled recall and prophy.

      Next visit was Jan 16, 2023. At this visit, Ms. Green had an Exam by Dr. Saleem and a prophy by our hygienist.

      Ms. Green was given a dental cleaning, given a dental prophy paste. This paste has a higher concentration of fluoride and is more abrasive than normal toothpaste.

      This prophy paste is used in almost every dental office in the State of Maryland.

      Ms. Green's complaint is that our website states that we give a fluoride prophy. This is to let patients know that there is fluoride in the prophy paste, as some patient

      have objections to having any fluoride at their dental prophy visits.

      Ms. Green asked if she was getting a "fluoride treatment". This is a separate procedure, with an additional fee. This treatment is usually administered to patients under 19 yrs. old and to patients with high caries risk. Our hygienist explained to Ms. Green that she had healthy teeth and gums, and that this extra fluoride treatment was not recommended. Ms. Green was satisfied with that answer. She thus paid her bill and scheduled her next 6-month recall checkup.

      Ms. Green did not understand that the prophy paste we use has a high amount of fluoride in it as well as pumice.  Ms. Green went home and sent an email stating we only cleaned her teeth with toothpaste. This is incorrect.

      The next day, Ms. Green came into the office, yelling at our receptionist.  The day after that, she came into the office, requested all her x-rays and chart. Dr. Saleem tried to speak with Ms. Green but she would not listen to the Doctor. We have offered to give Ms. Green a separate Fluoride Treatment, but she has declined- twice.

      Ms. Green paid for the services provided and therefore is not due a refund.

      Thus, this is a failure to understand on Ms. Green's part. We have tried to explain this to her. Ms. Green did receive a Fluoridated Prophy.

      I am rejecting this response because: The information provided in the business response is false, fraudulent and deceptive. This business is not in good standing and is a fortified business by the State of Maryland.

      Hence forth I have received my refund of payment. Therefore, I consider this dispute closed.
