This was a horrible bank from the start. They put a 10 business day hold on new deposits for no legit reason. They dont allow you to link an outside bank account for transfers out of their checking account. Neither of these are industry standards. They gave me the bait and switch on a new account bonus which was the last straw. Strung me along for over 6 months through multiple communications regarding the status of this bonus without ever disclosing I was not eligible until after 6 MONTHS passed. There are so many banking options, I advise you to avoid this one. I will be closing my TD bank account and TD Ameritrade accounts immediately. Terrible bank.

So, I opened TD Renovate credit card to purchase $100k worth of furniture at **********************. The furniture was delivered and I was charged in advance even though the terms stated that I would pay within 6 months of delivery not order. We had a 6 month deferred payment plan and within that time frame I paid my $100k. They didn't tell me that there were 6 separate arrangements, and each payment applied to a different plan. There was one month when a payment was made, but to a different plan, and they charged me $7000 in interest for the stuff i did not even recived Store manager (JAM(*****) confirmed it was his fault and he's working with the bank to dispute the charge.I paid off $24000 to avoid being charged interest on interest. Disputes take ***** days, and you still need to pay, otherwise, you'll be charged interest on interest. In order to resolve the dispute, it takes them 2 months, and after waiting almost 3 months, they now say the charges are valid and are requesting $7000 valid interest charges.Since I didn't receive any mail from TD Renewal or ****************, I didn't sign any physical paperwork. Ind am still waiting for my td renovate credit card which was never received or activated on my end.

My son just graduated from high school and got a secured credit card from TD. In June of 2022, he reported for basic training and did not use his card....EVER. Several months later, TD closed his card for non-payment and deducted all of their fees and charges against the secured account. Upon further review, TD **** Services charged my son's credit card with a $29 annual fee. We were not told in advance about this fee and my son was in Basic Training and could not access his credit card account. THEN, over the next several months, TD charged him approx. $199 in fees and penalties. Which they greedily deducted from the savings account that was securing it. In addition, they ruined his credit by giving his a bad rating on all three bureaus.Once we found out what had happened, we very reasonably requested that TD reverse all charges and restore his good credit rating. But, dealing with TD Bank has been a painful and tortuous process. Working through my local branch, TD Bank **** Services has asked for and been given numerous pieces of documentation PROVING that my son was in Basic Training and is now Private First Class in the ************* Army. We have sent his general orders, his orders ordering him to basic training, copies of his military ID, etc........clearly proving our case. It has failed to elicit any response from TD **** Services...it has been over 6 weeks. My son is a client of the bank and does all his banking there. But more importantly, he is a ************* Army soldier serving this country yet TD refuses to "do the right thing". I am appalled at their lack of care and concern. I have sent numerous pieces of documentation yet they do not accept what we give them and keep asking for more. TD Bank: ********* Most INCONVENIENT Bank.

This is the WORST company I have ever dealt with. The customer service is horrible and the reps are unqualified and unprofessional. I called at least 5 times trying to get my account unlocked. I also tried to do a balance transfer. All unsuccessful attempts. I asked to speak with a supervisor and she was little or no help. I am planning to cancel this card as soon as I get it unlocked and confirm there are not unauthorized fees or transactions. Whomever is running this company should be fired along with all of the so-called customer service reps. I would speak to a manager if I thought it would do any good but I know it will not.

My identity must have been compromised and someone opened a charge card associated with TD Bank through something called ******* ALL GOODS (**** ************ ******, ** *****). They have so far racked up over $3,000 in charges and when disputing the account through the three credit bureaus, two of three have found the charge valid. What a nightmare.

On 8/2/22022 I paid off my TD Credit Card balance in person at the local bank. TD Bank put my card in "dormant" status back in 2020 for lack of use, so I could not use nor was I getting monthly statements because of the dormant status. I continued to make on time monthly payments up until August 2022, when I paid off the card & have a $0 balance on receipt dated 8/2/2022. Since I'm now believing there is $0 *********** have not been getting statements for well over a year. In Nov. 2022 I get notifications through Experian that I have a delinquent account, the TD Bank Credit Card. According to the agent I spoke with on 11/28 that account was assessed a $7.33 account transfer fee after payoff in August. Since I was receiving NO statements whatsoever, late fees on that accumulated until Nov. 2022 to $65.00. Agent told me they were sending out statements that were being returned. I have been at same address since 2008. I have no credit problems & don't live paycheck to paycheck so I wouldn't have had a problem paying the $7.33 originally assessed had I been notified. Pretty shady way to do business. Needless to say I paid off $65.00 on card, closed account & will never get a TD Credit Card again & advise others of this occurrence also.

I have requested one dispute in my entire time being a customer. They did not have my back when I was charged over 300 extra dollars by AC Hotels. NOT once did they call me or leave me messages during this time and apparently sent mail when I have been traveling for the last 3 months. DO NOT OPEN A TD ACCOUNT. They are somehow worse than **** of America.

I didn't get my lien until 7 months after it's release. They also told me they will send a title. I called 8 separate times to have the "title" resent. Finally, someone who had proper training told me that they can't actually replace the lien, but the state does, and I would have to go to the *** for the title. Being a young, new car owner, I didn't know this. Clearly the reps didn't even know this...I kept getting locked out of my account too. Idk if this bank is run by tweakers or scammers preying on people who need a first time job. Either way, I got lucky. Some people here had their info used for other scams. How is this place still in business?

Was late by ONE day with my card payment and was charged $40 which made my payment $152, too steep for one day late. Fine, I payed it the next day after it was due including late fee. Next month I log in to pay bill on the 9th (payment is due on the 11th) there is a late fee again! I called to find out what the heck was going on and explained I had already paid the late fee from the month before and I'm not late this month so why?! The customer service rep started out sounding nice and concerned but quickly flipped from nice to telling me that's just how it is. I said there was no way for this to be right and she told me that the billing cycle ended the day my payment was due so they took the $40 and applied it towards my overall balance and not my late fee. I said this is ridiculous! Now I am paying a late fee twice and I'm not even late! She said in a rude tone that if you don't pay it on time this is what happens. We are living paycheck to paycheck and my bills are calculated out so I have just enough to put food on the table, I'm working two jobs and every little bit counts. They don't care and they made it abundantly clear that your situation doesn't matter. Don't be like me and forget to pay your bill, you will not receive mercy from just another heartless bank.
