I purchase kitchen cabinets from the Ware Butler Supply, I delt with sales person the name of ***** ******. Cabinets were made from black walnut and were supposed to be high end. The cabinets were made by ********* mfg in *******. Ware Butler owns *********. The cabinets were ordered as full overlay and with a door and raise panel profile that ********* had not yet made yet, but they stated they could make anything. Despite long delays in responses from Davin, the design started in Feb of 2024 ended with cabinets being delivered in Nov. Cabinets look great but raised panels in doors were machined to thin at the joint were the panel inserts into the door frame. This was a result of Woodsmith compromising on the thickness of the raised panel material to save money. The end result is raised panels that wobbles when the doors are opened or closed. Those that don't wobble are warped so bad some have up to 1/4 bow in them. The doors were also ordered as full overlay meaning they should cover most of the cabinet frame and nearly touch when two oposing doors are on the same cabinet. My doors overlays vary, probably because it was the first time woodsmith cut this profile. Opposing doors have gaps big enough for your finger to fit in between them. ** offered to repair the doors but not remake them correctly. I didn't pay almost $27K for doors to have shims or glues injected into the loose panel gaps. When I raised the issue up the chain at Ware Butler I got a call from ****** ******. When I explained the issues to ****** she told me if I was such an expert on cabinetry why didn't I make the cabinet myself. She further told me she was on the road all day and didn't appreciate me demending a call back that day, that she had six kids to take care of and didn't have time to deal with customers like me. What customer service. What I should have told ****** is that I have a degree in Manufacturing Engineering and know bad mfg when I see it. ** refused to remake the doors!
