    The owner of this business, *******************, agreed to make several updates including an addition to the mobile home I purchased this past summer, 2023. I actually met with him in the spring before the purchase and went over all the work I wanted done. He assured me he would be willing to do the work.I then secured a space with a $250. deposit for him to start the work end of Sept. In August, he called and told me work wouldn't begin until the mid/end of October. After this, there were 3 more delays with the final start date the week of Thanksgiving. He then informed me that he needed a 60% downpayment which included a 5K change order that he refused to include in the contract. This was not previously disclosed and I recall that when we discussed downpayment originally, he told me the standard 1/3rd down at the start of job. When I questioned the large downpayment and the fact that the the state's attorney general warned this was too high and the fact that all change orders be included in the original contract, he said he was aware of this, but this is the way he does business. At 3:30 in the morning I received a text from him stating that he no longer wanted to do the work. It was now entering the winter season and work that would have winterized my unit was not completed. I would not advise anyone to deal with this business.
