GM is the worst product car to ever buy. I have had a factory recall for safety on my airbags for one year now and the dealership laughs in my face when I tell him I want a loaner to drive something safer for them to buy my car back Ive gone through two different dealerships and GM them self going up high with the management and they all told me the same thing. Basically Im screwed. They dont care about their customers they dont care about the safety. They dont care that if something happens to one of us on the road, theyre going to be sued $1 million instead of taking care of safety in our vehicles. Horrible company will never buy a Gm through this experience ever again nor will anyone I know. 0 stars .. trying to get out of this recalled car which no one will trade in with a recall. If anyone has an idea of how to get a loaner from this company please give me some insight. Im trying all I can. Ive heard a couple people *************** but theyre refusing me?

I am so disappointed with how Chevrolet is responding to known inferior engine parts that were installed in its Silverado engines, particularly from late 2020 to early 2021. Unfortunately, I fell victim to these inferior engine parts when my 2021 Silverado **** Trail Boss LT (build date of February 2021) suffered lifter collapse on the passenger side bank of lifters with only ****** miles on the truck. This is when learned how prolific this problem is and it isn't a matter of "if" but rather of "when" failure will happen. I do understand that manufacturing issues arise from time to time but it is how companies like GM respond to these issues that can really show their true colors. In the case of lifter failure, Chevrolet will only permit the Dealer to replace the lifters on the side of the engine that suffered failure (in my case, I had a misfire in one cylinder on the passenger side from a collapsed lifter). So, instead of replacing all of the lifters on both sides that are KNOWN to fail, ***** will only replace half of them. So, they, more or less, return to you a ticking time bomb. So, $50,000 for a truck that I was able to use for ****** miles. I can't in good conscience put my family in my truck and take a trip any further than the grocery store for fear of the other side of the engine suffering lifter collapse and leaving us stranded someplace. Again, a well known and documented issue.I have no choice but to drive my truck from the dealership after the repair, trade it, and buy a **** or Dodge. Shame on General Motors and Chevrolet for clearly putting their bottom line above the safety of their customers. Unfortunately, this prolific problem is also impacting trade values negatively as well so it just keeps getting better.Unfortunately, my one tiny voice will do nothing to change GM's business practices but I feel better that maybe somebody might read this and make a decision to shop elsewhere.

I purchased a 2017 Chevrolet Tahoe Z71 in November of 2017. Two years later the hood of the vehicle started to fade and looks like it had a buffing machine on it. I have never had this vehicle buffed. I have detailed it myself after running it through the local car wash. This is not my first vehicle, but it is my first experience with having a vehicles paint go totally bad! I have never paid this much for a vehicle and am so disappointed in having to drive it looking like this!! It is an embarrassment for me, as I have always taken pride in what I drive. Of course , during the pandemic it was out of my control and I wasn't driving much. In 2022, took it to a ************ shop for an estimate. Just for the hood and fenders I was quoted approximately *****. I heard about a possible class action law suit about this issue and put my name on a list with other disappointed customers. In the meantime , I called Chevrolet customer service on 3 different occasions , to be told they would offer me $53 towards the problem. I then took it to the only Chevrolet dealer that has a paint department and they offered $300 towards a $3300 repainting of the car. At this time the top of the car was included, because it started doing the same up there. I found out today that the lawsuit was dismissed in court. My husband owns a 2017 Chevrolet ******** and has not had a problem. I sure would like GM to own up to their mistake with this paint and pay for my vehicle to be brought back to its full beauty. I will never be able to sell it to anyone for what it is worth with only ****** miles on it. It is paid off as of December. At my age , I did not want to buy another vehicle. A/C condenser just went out, so what's next?

Chevrolet and their trucks - it took two years for them to get my missing parts that were promised. Additionally, during an appointment at Freeway Chevrolet in *****, *******, it took them eight hours to attend to my truck, and nothing was installed. This experience is unbelievable, and I strongly advise against purchasing a truck from Chevrolet.

General motors! This is my second complaint against general motors that I opened. I received a phone call in my friends to the first one and pretty much was told. Oh well about your car even though it's been in the shop five times for the coolant system. I was told by ******* who works there. Your bumper to bumper warranty is over and it's too late for you to bring the car back and get a replacement. When I asked if I could be transferred over to someone to attempt to open up a recall when the car I was told no. When I asked to speak to a miniature I was told there was nobody in the department to do that with general motors needs to open a recall on a ****************************************************************************** the shop at JBA Chevrolet five times for the cooling system. I'm the only owner of the car. It had 11 miles when I bought it.

General Motors does not care for their customers. My car is in the shop for warranty work and it has been there for 2 months waiting for parts. Even though the parts are on backorder, GM has done NOTHING to assist me with a rental, loaner or any other type of help. I am a first responder and rely on my vehicle. I want the company to buy back my vehicle, I am tired of waiting. DO NOT BY A GM PRODUCT, THEY DO NOT CARE AFTER THE ***** This is my first and last GM product I will every have. Back to ***** Sorry I got weak and bough a GM. I give NO STARS *******

Despicable company. My airbag malfunctioned during a crash in my 2016 ***** silverado. I informed GM about the situation and even provided photos as proof. Upon their investigation I was informed that as long as nobody was "severely" injured there was nothing they would do about. My conclusion is that they are perfectly OK with putting out a product used for safety that *** malfunction in a time of need, but as long as knowbody gets killed there is nothing they are willing to do to prevent this from happening again.
