After days one, three, eight and 35, of my local ***** dealers Service Rep asking me what was wrong with the car, that I had towed in on Oct 30th, I wanted to speak to the manager, only to find out I had been. So on Dec 8th I called GM and spoke with a *****. She said she'd file a complaint on my behalf. The following week she called to let me know they weren't responding but efforts would continue. She called later and left a message with just her number so I returned the call. ****** answered and I told her I suspected I wrote the number incorrectly because I couldn't get through. She wanted to know why I called. I told her I was returned a call. She gave me the extension number (I had written it correctly, after all) and said she'd try. She then returned stating ***** was with a client and why did I want to speak to her. I told her, again, I was returning a call. Perhaps, she could look in the file and find out what it was in regard to. She said she was, w/o me giving her the case number. She then told me the dealer said they had not worked on the car. It has only been in NM. I told her I didn't understand what that meant. She repeated that, verbatim, two more times. I then asked her where my car was. I was getting very confused and distressed by her behavior. She was just about yelling at me to go get my car and bring it to a different dealer. I asked her if I should have to pay to have it towed, again. Since I'd lost trust in this dealership I should come and get my car and bring it to a different dealer. I then told her that I thought her behavior was totally unacceptable and thanks for nothing and hung up. I later found out someone entered the wrong information, so a dealer in a different state was called. I had contacted them to assist me, with an issue of gross incompetence, only to be treated like a ****** **** because of further incompetence. I only picked one star, because I had to pick something.

Horrible service at the ********************************* Service. Delayed warranty part to the point of getting GM customer Care involved. To which an offer was extended to me then receded because it shouldnt have been offered in the first place! A continued waste of my time and efforts. Receded the offer just as I was ready to purchase new and salvage my relationship with GM and start fresh at a new dealer.Ive wasted so much time and money going back and forth for parts, service and most of the trips required 2 vehicles, and us leaving work early or going in late to facilitate trips. 1. 2 trips to get mats that were ordered 2. Out of 5 different service trips only one was the service is asked for, once I was forced to pay for things I didnt ask for, and once things were done that didnt need to be done and once things were done that shouldnt have but they didnt make me pay. The only appropriate service I got was at the quick lube on dealer property. 3. It took 3 trips to get chips installed. 4. We purchased a truck at this dealer too and called ahead to make sure it would fit in the bay for the oils change that you get free with purchase.. got there and was told it wouldnt fit. We verified all the specs but they said it was out fault we didnt tell them it was a flat bed (they didnt ask) 5. Im on trip 4 to get warranty work completed because they kept saying a part was in that wasnt in. After our last trip we got GM customer care involved. We decided we just wanted to be done with the dealer and start new a loyalty certificate was offered. Over the span of many emails the delayed parts supervisor I was dealing with never checked to be sure this offer was valid. So I got an email that said unfortunately this is being receded because your vehicle is running the supervisor had just learned that its not applicable to our situation. GM- a well made car with horrific service is not how you value loyal customers!

My boyfriend and I bought our very first new off the lot Silverado back in 2021. We now are realizing it was an absolute mistake considering the Pandemic was happening during this time, ** should have not been manufacturing vehicles that are not made safely and are basically danger on wheels. The first problem with our truck started around a year and a half into having it, small electrical problems, windows not working, the screen staying on after the truck is completely off. Fast forward to now, 2 months ago we were driving home, fortunately not on the highway. Our truck went into a motor engine power reduced which caused the motor and truck to shake violently, could not drive it for even a block. Now that we've read reviews for this car I would not recommend anyone purchase this. Our truck was in the dealership for 2 months, they didn't have any loaners to offer because of the ** strike and being so backed up from people in front of us having their own problems with there *****'s. Turns out the 2021 Silverados are one of the worst rated trucks they've ever produced. Shame on ** for making and selling vehicles at a time where they definitely shouldn't have been.

Do not count on the 12 month ****** bumper to bumper CPO warranty. Because they will tell you the defective part is blocked from the bumper to bumper warranty. Like a rearview mirror camera. Really, save your money and get a real warranty. I worked for a few gm dealerships "stealerships" and I purchased a CPO Camaro zl1 9 months ago and they not honor the camera that went out but, will replace it for $1700.00. So if you want to pay $2600.00 plus for 2 free oil changes go ahead because that's about all you can get from this preowned certified option warranty. I wish I could give them a no star review.

Purchased a 2013 Silverado new. Had the truck rustproofed since day one with yearly touch **** Went for undercoat touch up in 2020 and they said they would not do it again because the truck frame was rusting from the inside out. They said it had something to do with GM rustproofing coating that failed. Talked with *******, they said the same thing. ******* will not touch any ***** truck frame from 2007 to 2017 because they rust out so fast. Truck has only ****** miles on it, totally UNACCEPTABLE! Other customers reporting the same issue with some frames suffering vertical cracks making it a SAFETY ISSUE! Been a GM fan for 45 years, but there making it tough to stay loyal after this. Their needs to be a class action lawsuit for all the bad frames that are out there.

I have been a GM owner for over 15 years. have purchased new vehicles for my wife and I about every 2-3 years. So I'm on vacation pulling our RV with my 2023 GMC Denali in ******* and my truck breaks down. Go to the closest GMC dealer and I'm told that the main part that is needed to repair my truck is on back order and that GM workers are on strike and that it could take a month or more to get the part. So we spend the night at a local hotel and then fly back to our home in *****. Once the truck was repaired we flew back to ******* to pick up our truck. had over $3,000 in plane ticket cost and GM stated that they would not reimburse me due to the plane ticket price being too high. So not only am i out over 3K, had to make a trip back to ******* to pick up my truck but also lost out on the last 4 days of our RV vacation. My advice, don't buy a GM product. they obviously don't stand behind their products. As for me....I will never buy a GM again!

I brought a Chevrolet Silverado 2021 . I done took it to the shop 3 times been in there 4 months the second time. Chevrolet are straight garbage and they need to be taken off the market. They know they torque converters ain't no good and still continue to sell them .

New Chevrolet Silverado Z71, has manual mirrors with no detente in closed position, they lock into driving position or full forward position, but when pulled into closing(against the cab)position they do not lock, this is an obvious poor design that Silverados have used in the past, but mirrors are larger now hence when driving through a car wash they are slammed with great force into the full forward position. I have owned approximately 20 Silverados in the last 35 years and never had this problem, now I have a new truck that I cannot wash because Im 75 years old now and have physical limitations. And everyone I have complained to in GM, says they cant help. As a mechanical patent holding engineer this is a poor design so buyers beware
