I am disgusted with GM/*****, I have a 2018 ***** Cruze with 19K miles and it already needs a new engine, this is absolutely crazy. What kind of car needs a new engine with less than 20K miles? They offer a goodwill situation but only if you pay upfront. I was quoted 14K for a new engine, my car isn't worth 14K and I surely don't have 14K just laying around. This is why I never bought American made cars before, always ****** or something else. GM should step up and realize that this is a problem with there cars not customers, this is probably why they discontinued the ***** Cruze's. So much for American made...

Bought a 2020 pre-certified used ***** Silverado with bumper to bumper limited warranty. Found it was leaking water through the roof spoiler. Found the service bulletin that ** posted with instructions for the shop to fix. The repair isnt covered even though the fix was sent out due to poor workmanship. The rear view mirror camera stopped working. That repair isnt covered under the warranty either even though it falls under the terms of warranty repairs. Cant talk to the warranty department to find out why since they arent customer facing and neither the shop or the ** customer service departments can explain why. Great job in standing behind your product. Even found the website that ** uses to pride themselves on standing behind their products and to call customer service prior to making a complaint at the BBB thats a joke.

They stole 60k from me. I bought a truck, it needed warranty repairs and after almost 4 weeks and making me pay for a rental car for 2 weeks without reimbursement, they gave me a tiny car as a loaner that was no where near the big luxury truck I paid for. Now they will only say I'm sorry, not my problem. I have no ETA for it to be fixed and when I asked for opinions, like refund or comparable vehicle, I was told I'm sorry. That sounds terrible, I'm sorry. Nothing we can do. GM is terrible to people and do not care.

This company is continuing to make vehicles with bad transmissions putting people who drive them safety at risk as well as anyone else on the highway. There should be a recall on transmissions for the company to fix the issue instead of the owner of the vehicle footing the bill on a issue they knew/know about but yet are correcting the issue. Yet the company is getting rich off of this BIG SAFETY ISSUE

Bought a brand new 2021 ***** trailblazer. I have had the transmission go out already and now the car just shuts off in middle of road with me and my 3 year old. It started to pop up a hunch of messages and did not warn me before. I tried to ask them for a refund they said there no way I can do that they can give me an upside down amount I will have to pay extra for a car. I am tired! I bought a new car for my kids to have good transportation. I missed work to deal With no answer no rental nothing i have to pay out of pocket to go around!

I am trying to find out who I need to contact to make sure that most auto manufacturers are held accountable for their vehicle most of the vehicles that have an 8 speed transmission are faulty and need to be rebuilt or replaced with a new transmission.. the next major issue is the wiring in the all auto that are at least 2020 and newer are made with what they call soy/nut based and all manufacturers know this and put off as if it is something that just happens.. something needs to be done about this I know for a fact it is GM, DODGE, CHRYSLER,AND ****

Purchased a brand new 2023 ***** Equinox for my retired mom, who lives on a fixed income. She was driving the car and the car stopped working. Long story short the entire engine has to be replaced. The issue is she lives on a fixed and the rental she needs isnt covered. GM only covers $50 a day and the rest has to be paid upfront and then she can request a reimbursement if the claim is accepted but who can pay upfront cost on a fixed income. Shes a retired teacher. GM is putting the burden on her kids. The car was purchased brand new so peace of mind was issued so my retired 72 year old mom would be safe and now shes in a lemon and has to pay cost if we want to get a rental. How does GM do this to brand new cars less than 6 months old. What kind of customer service is this. I want her to buy a **** but she said GM. How I wish we had gone with ****.

We have a 2012 ***** Silverado..had to already replace the engine in 2020 the transmission this year in 2023 and now the engine lifters need to be replaced inside the new engine we just got..and apparently GM knows they are selling faulty engines!!! Doing research this has happened to numerous peoplewe will never buy a GM vehicle again!!! Others and the public needs to know about the fact that they are knowingly selling faulty engines!!!

I bought a brand new 2022 Silverado black widow edition and things started falling apart on it-fender flare, paint chipping on running board, brake covers falling off, grill came loose- within the first 6 months. I kept having to take it back and forth to Southern Chevrolet bcuz of the shoddy work they were doing. I ended up having to take it to another location after complaining to GM about them. Just to be told some issues wont be covered bcuz of time expired even tho the issue was initially filed in time at the first location. GM trucks arent worth a **** and their customer service is awful. Take my advice and dont waste your money on there vehicles!!

I bought a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD brand new and from the time I purchased it the transmission had a slipping problem and due to the fact that I'm not a mechanic and that my 2015 Chevrolet Silverado ****hd did the exact same thing and every time I brought them in I was told there was nothing wrong and it was normal.Well doing some research and talking to the dealerships ********* Chevrolet being one of them where I bought my vehicle's from told me that they receive 3-4 per week with the same transmission I was told its the worst transmission and that there not sure why nothing is being done about it,and *********************** shop in ********, ********** told me the same thing ***** also said they actually have changes they make to correct this issue I was also told my truck should get better than 9.9mpg Which it That's not! After all my research question asking to other owners who also purchased Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD I have most definitely purchased a lemon vehicle due to the 9.9 mpg And the faulty transmission.I am not one to make complaints but I fill something should be done about this issue but I am a faithful Chevrolet owner even with my issue's and I hope to continue to be.I also forgot to mention that when I found out it was not normal I called Whittmeier Chevrolet in *****, ********** thinking maybe changing the filter and fluid in the faulty transmission might fix the issue and was told once those transmission start shuttering or slip there is nothing you can do,so that means that when I bought it brand new it was faulty?I thank you for your time and consideration Sincerely, ***********************
