According to information in BBB files, "Lighthouse Logistics" has the hallmarks of an employment scam designed to convince job seekers to receive merchandise, add a new shipping label, and mail it to another location. BBB Scam Tracker has received dozens of reports from job seekers who receive unsolicited calls and emails about this work from home opportunity with wages that are too good to be true. Payment is promised after 30 days of work, however, consumers are locked out of their accounts before payday.
Most consumers do not recall applying for a job at Lighthouse Logistics. One consumer told BBB “Was first contacted around noon through email saying they received my resume through "employment search webpages". I was then contacted via phone call by "Leighton Carter" who said she was reaching out about my application on Indeed. [Later] She told me that they actually were sent my resume by Indeed instead of myself applying for it like she originally said. I challenged this reminding her she said I applied specifically.”
The address at 2529 Orleans in Detroit is a high-end office development, not occupied by Lighthouse Logistics. The entity uses multiple email addresses and phone numbers that are flagged as spam and/or invalid according to reports.
