      I reported a broken gauge on my propane tank 4 times since April 2024 and it was never fixed. I normally need propane by the end of December but was unable to tell as my gauge is broken. Fearing that I may be low on propane as my furnace was making strange sounds, I asked Ellsworth farmers exchange to bring propane. Because its a Tuesday and not my normal Friday delivery day, they charged me an extra $125. I find this absurd since my gauge is broken and after the fill, the delivery driver told me I still had 80 gallons in my tank! ******* at farmers exchange showed no remorse or care that people are struggling to pay for heating costs and then thrown a ridiculously high penalty fee if for some reason they need fuel on a day other than their *************** day.

      Based on the customers complaint we investigated to determine that the problem was in fact reported, as a result we provided a credit in the amount of $125.00.  We are grateful for the feedback and use every opportunity made available to learn and improve on our record keeping, reporting and resolution of issues related to each customers complaints.  Our overall goal is to eliminate any and all complaints and if there are real issues, proactively address them to prevent future occurrences.
