      Our R/O system lost pressure for some reason. Had a tech come out and check the system, told us he needed to take the system with him to test it, should only take a couple days. Called Gordon end of the first week and was told, "I'll have service get back with you". This happened 3 more times without returns. End of the second week was told, "it's being tested"...still. Nearly 3 weeks and $300.00 the system gets reinstalled and was told it was a faulty valve spring...for $300.00!? No estimate, no recept other than a hand written note of the total charge.Next day, back to no pressure in the system. Call Gordon and explained the issue, different tech comes out and tests the water and says its bad, the water is bad...didn't say a word about the pressure, the reason for him to come out. He was unable to answer why "out water was bad, coming thru a system they just fixed. As the tech was leaving, we get a sales pitch on newer models, one of which is the same system we now have. No apologies for the $300.00 loss, no let's see what we can do...nothing! Thievery and fraud!

      **** - As we discussed in previous review postings the ** system you have is 20+ yrs old and parts are no longer supported by the manufacturer. We took the unit back to the shop to assess and replace the component that was presenting as failed. Given the age of the system we are fortunate to have 1 technician that has been with us long enough to have installed those types of systems 20+ years ago and he was the one that needed to work on your system to determine the specific issues. He determined that the ** module (we had a new one in stock) needed to be replaced because it had failed. Unfortunately once that was replaced another component called a "Subassembly" apparently became the weak point and unfortunately that component is not available and we have no new ones in stock. The age of the system and the availability of supported parts makes it not feasible to fix the system with new parts and used are, well, used. We will provide you the $300 you paid in parts and labor toward replacement toward a nicely discounted ** system providing you with a tremendous value. I am sorry the age of the unit you have is not serviceable. We look forward to helping you have a good functioning ** system in your home soon.
