The BBB contacted Row 2 tickets in regards to a consumer reporting a transaction they believed was processed by Row 2 Tickets. The management of Row 2 Tickets participated in the BBB review process and provided the following response to the consumers concern:
We are a merchant, just like an Amazon or Ticketmaster. Thief's with stolen credit cards commonly try to use stolen credit cards at online merchant websites. We have 0 affiliation with anyone trying to use stolen credit cards. We are a victim of credit card fraud in this case, just as you would be. No business is profiting from credit card fraud. Businesses lose billions of $ a year as a result of credit card fraud, and we do everything we can to help stop it before it hits your credit card statement, including rejecting many orders that can not be independently validated as legitimate.
If someone has stolen your credit card, you need to report it to Visa/MC/AMEX.
The BBB also advises any consumer that has been a victim of internet fraud to report the transaction to the FBI internet Fraud unit at the following website: https://www.fbi.gov/investigate/cyber
