  Old growth tree service is Very unprofessional company to have do your tree work had lots of issues they damaged my shed, damaged my swingset, and the owner after I notified him about his guys basically gave me a option, which was they’ll come power wash my shed they will fix my swingset, but never did!! but supposed to be a three man job which only turned into a two-man job. The stump grinding job was very horrible. The owner was in a rush to get paid after I made a comment to one of the guys that came out to clean up my stump mulch, and told that guy I need it all cleaned out of the hole and then the next day, the owner calls and says he would like to come over and collect his money when the job was not done correctly. I will never have worked done by this gentleman ever again, I hope people wake up and see when it comes to Him not letting the customer know ahead of time that when grinding the stump they do not remove all the stump mulch, if it’s a cleanup, unless there is topsoil there at the time of the cleanup of the stump mulch, I was not aware of that so I had to sign a waiver, a waiver that he never told me at the beginning of his job so over all this company I do not recommend

  We were contacted by this client to perform two tree removals (one in the front yard, one in the back yard) so a garage could be put in. There was a shed and a swing set located directly under the tree to be removed in the back. Our crew was able to safely remove the tree, but while roping down the branches the buds of the Maple tree brushed the back of the shed and left a stain. At one point a branch also dragged across the wooden post of the swing set and did cause a small dent and some surface scratches. We were contacted by the client with concerns about the minor damages to the shed and swing set. We immediately offered to come out and power wash the back of the shed to remove the stains, and showed up within the week to complete that. There was also a pile of logs the client decided he wanted moved which was not a part of the original cost. We offered to move the logs at no cost, or re-stain the swing set as compensation for the damage to the swing set. The client chose to have the logs moved which we immediately completed, at no cost.***** grinding was performed later in the week. The contract was to grind and clean up ***** mulch from the ***** in the front yard. The client had stated he would take care of filling the hole with topsoil. On the day the stumps were ground, there was no topsoil on sight; so the mulch was left in the hole to grade for liability purposes. Shortly thereafter, the client contacted us telling us he was unhappy the mulch was left at grade. We explained the liability to our company if someone were to fall into the hole in the front yard. We told him we would happily come and remove the below grade mulch, if he was willing to sign a waiver releasing us from liability, or have topsoil on site to fill it himself. He stated he would prefer to sign a waiver. Within a few days we returned, he signed the release waiver, and we cleaned out the remaining mulch as promised.When that work was completed we met with the client in person to ensure he was satisfied with the work completed. The client stated that he was indeed satisfied with the completed work and proceeded to pay us before we left his property. Three days after approving the completed work, he texted us stating he was unhappy with the ***** grinding.Old Growth Tree Services prides itself on making sure our clients are completely satisfied with the work we perform.   Professionals in every respect and great to work with. They safely removed a huge tree from our yard, and made it look effortless. Contacted me promptly, answered any questions, reasonable cost, and thorough clean-up. These guys are the best.
