    My mom and I have been customers of ********************** for years. They pride themselves saying they are among one of the most reputable companies out there. Their products are also not the cheapest. On the morning of July 15th as usual, I was preparing my coffee using the clear round coffee mugs from Princess House; we've had these mugs for about 6-7 years. I poured the hot water on the mug and started stirring the coffee. As I was stirring, the mug suddenly exploded, spilling the very hot coffee all over the counter and on myself. Thanks to my reaction, the only place I was burned was on my stomach. I immediately took my night gown off and applied a topical ointment to ease the pain and burn. As exaggerating as it may sound, this incident has left me traumatized. Since the incident, when preparing my coffee I flinch and move to the side as I begin to stir the coffee. It doesn't matter what mug I use, it can be any regular mug. While the injury it caused was not as severe to warrant a trip to the emergency room thanks to my clothing, I can only imagine the type of injury it could have caused to a small child or pet if they were around when it happened and the hot coffee came in direct contact with their skin.I filed a complaint with Princess House seeking a resolution for this very bad experience and was informed they opened a claim with their insurance company. According to their Bilingual *********************** Lead representative *********************** on July 22nd, someone with their insurance company would be in contact with me. It is August 6th and as of today, no one has reached out to me. I still have the pictures and the coffee mug to prove this incident.
