    This person uses predatory marketing practices, buying personal information for harassing emails pushing "consulting" sales. When I asked for information about who is selling my personal information, the owner flatly refused to give any information, stating she "has multiple vendors" and refuses to acknowledge this is an unethical business practice.

    I apologized to this customer for the fact that the email was unwanted and promptly removed her from my mailing list.  She sent several emails to me in response and all were answered kindly and professionally.

    My business doesn't purchase personal information, only organizational or business contact information.  ********** emails are never sent.  The only mass marketing emails I send are for training, not consulting.  There is an unsubscribe option at the bottom of each marketing email, and all are responded to promptly as was this customer's.  All other email marketing requirements are complied with.
