purchase of 13 finished light oak windows on 10/21/2022. received unfinished windows. **** at porkys stated to me that ******************* do not come in any finish. per the ****** window manufacture web site the windows do come in a light oak finish, ************* to me and stated you will have to finish them yourself, i explained to him that i have no place to do that and asked to send the windows back to the manufacture to have finished and i would pay what ever it would cost, **** laughed at me and said no. My contractor stated that porkys changed the order due to cost and time of delivery per **** at porkys. this was a decision that did not include me. i ordered finished windows that came in unfinished and **** at porkys is unwilling to resolve this issue and i am very unsatisfied, very unhappy and want to be satisfied with finished windows!

*************** to the above complaints which are both connected to the same issue.  I will give you Porky's Building Supply side of the story.

*************************, contractor, came into Porky's Building supply to get a ****** window quote for a project he was hired to do.

****************** and our salesman, *********************** went over the window quote in detail, including which ****** Window line would be quoted, the window type and sizes, the exterior and interior finishes, etc.  After discussing the final revised quote, ****************** gave his permission to order the windows as quoted, for the project he was hired for.

Three weeks later, *************************, homeowner, came to Porky's Building Supply, introduced herself, and inquired to see if the windows that were ordered by her contractor had been paid for.  She was told the window order has not been paid.  She then insisted on paying for the windows herself.

It was at that time she asked to see the window order.   When she was told the window's interior wood jambs were ordered bare pine and that her contractor was going to finish the interior wood jambs himself, she became upset.  She demanded that the order be changed so the interior wood jambs have an oak finish.  **** explained to her that the order was placed weeks ago and could not be canceled or changed.  He explained to her if she was not happy with the windows her contractor ordered, she would have to address the issue with him.

**** called ****************** the next day and explained the conversation he had with *****************

During that conversation, ****************** told ************* was always planning to do the interior finish himself, prior to installation.

It was at this time **************** started blaming *********************** and Porky's Building Supply for changing the order due to cost and delivery time.  This is simply not true.

And to address ******************** accusation that *********************** lied to her regarding the oak finish option that is referenced on the ****** Window website.  The interior finish that is offered for the ****** ************** line (which is what her contractor picked out for her project) comes in bare pine, clear coat, designer *****, and painted white.  **** could not have lied about the oak finish option because it is not offered under the Elevate line.  They would have needed to move up to ******'s more expensive window line, Ultimate, in order to get an interior oak finish.

The complaint by ******************, stating that the ****** windows he ordered were supposed to be finished on the interior is untrue and he knows that.

This is really a dispute between a homeowner and her contractor, and the company that was asked to supply the windows, as quoted and agreed upon, is now receiving the blame.

Please contact me if you have any comments or questions concerning this matter.

    Thank You,
