      I have reached out to them several times with emails and numerous phone calls. I was served with court order because I'm apparently been sued for a fraudulent credit card. All of the major credit reports have removed this from my credit report because if identity theft. They have yet to reach out to me to resolve this matter. If I have to hire a lawyer and miss time from work I will be seeking compasation for my time and lawyer fees. Because this is a waste of my time and your time. No communication on ur part which isn't a way to run are operate a business and for the BBB to give u a rating of A+ is a joke.

      This supposed law firm/collection agency keeps sending me garnishment letter notices for a person I do not know or employ. I wrote them a letter months ago telling them I am a sole proprietorship part-time fishing guide service and I have no employees.
      However, they keep sending the same letter every month. They obviously are not professional and they do not do their homework. The stationery for their letterhead is suspect and looks to be done on a black and white copy machine.

      Filed a false report to the court aledging I owe them money. Never did business with them. They refused/failed to provide evidence proving for the dollar amount owed. Reviews shows their unethical practice and disregard for customer service. Over 50+ complaints filed and over 20+ claims dropped in the last 12 months.
      The aledged replies from Gurstel Law firm do not come across as quality and genuine nor proof it's actually Gurstel responding. What was the actual outcome?

      Gurstel Law Firm operates in BAD FAITH.
      They send you summons and request a response within 20 days the date the complaint was filed.
      However, they do not deliver the summons and complaint to you until AFTER the 20 days have expired. This is operating in bad faith.
      They say that their company's core values are Do Right and Maintain Integrity. Doing right and maintaining integrity is not what this company specializes in. Otherwise, they would give people they sue the opportunity to respond.

      Not willing to negotiate with us when we had successfully paid welk over a year. Wanting to continue to pay but they proceeding to garnish wages before we were notified. And i recall that our debtor. bank of america, got 20 billion tarp with another 118 billion in gaurantee without much consequence. Unjust.

      I received a summons for court. I called the court house to see who it was from as I never received anything from Gurstal. I then called and set up a payment plan with Gurstel to pay off this debt. Devin **** then told me within a week they would send a letter to the courts saying since I set up a plan I no longer need to go to court. Days went by I decide to look at court calendar and there I am in it. So I called back and talked to Devin. He said a week after we talked the first time they changed their policy stating it had to be paid in full otherwise I still had to go to court. I received no notifications from them. What the hell is the point of setting up a payment plan if you aren’t going to follow through on your end???? So here I am having to go to court tomorrow. Not happy with them!!!

      I really believe that this is an organized institution of scammers really.
      Got a letter from them stating that I owned money to a business I never known before. I send an email asking for more information about who I own that money, they never responded.
      I called two days after the email. And there is the funny story.
      The guy **** ***** over the phone can't even tell me where the debt is from and what services that business provide or was provided to me.
      All he kept saying was I own money to one client and nothing.
      Not even where that business is located.
      Shut this place down.

      Zero stars. Gurstel contacted me in April 2023 with wage garnishment papers. This was from a case against me from Jan. 2022?? I never had any relationship with Gurstel, never had a financial contract with them. I am on government assistance for medical, and food for myself and my children. Therefore, in the state of Minnesota, it is unlawful to garnish my wages. I filled out the paperwork, and returned it within one week. A few months later, Gurstel sent paperwork that they were moving forward with the garnishment, and contacted my employer. They stated that I haven’t used government assistance in more then six months. This statement was completely false. I have been on assistance for five straight years now, and just recently renewed for the next twelve months. It is truly disappointing to me that Gurstel moved forward with contacting my employer, after not conducting correct research on their end. I sent them communication recently with all my government paperwork, and they have not tried to contact me back, nor have they reached out to my employer to stop the garnishment. The next step is for me to file suit against this company for unlawfully filing a garnishment.

      Received a letter threatening to sue for an account that was once handled by another law firm for the same client that was dismissed in the courts back in 2022 without prejudice. Stop harassing me. Let me live my final years in peace.
