In summer / fall of 2021, BBB began receiving complaints about 'SwapEngines.com' and 'CertifiedEngineTransmission.com,' auto parts websites claiming to be located in Goodview, MN. BBB notes that there are no businesses by this name registered through the MN Secretary of State's office, and legitimate, neighboring businesses have advised BBB there is no such business in Goodview. If you are currently in communication with 'SwapEngines.com' or 'CertifiedEngineTransmission.com' about a possible purchase, BBB would urge you not to send money to these entities. If you have already lost money to one of these sites, please file a complaint at www.bbb.org.

 

UPDATE (June 2024): The 'SwapEngines.com' site and a seemingly affiliated site, 'autoparts-pro.com,' are once again active, now indicating an address in Richmond, VA in the website's Privacy Policy. BBB urges consumers considering a purchase through these sites to be extremely cautious.
