2025: According to information provided by consumers and by Financial Recovery
Services Inc (FRS), an unknown entity has been calling consumers about debt
allegedly owed on a payday loan. Callers often use the name “FR Services” (or
similar), and may reference a debt owed to “Fast Cash.”
BBB
has determined these calls are *not* coming from FRS, and are likely
impersonating the business in a bid to convince call recipients to share
personal or payment information. FRS emphasizes that it does not collect on
payday loan accounts, is not associated with “Fast Cash,” and does not contact
family members of consumers it is attempting to reach.
If
you have received such a call and are uncertain as to its legitimacy, BBB
encourages you to contact FRS directly at 866-438-2860 for verification. Do not
use callback information provided by the caller. If you are confident the call
is from an imposter as described above, please report to the Federal Trade
Commission (FTC) at reportfraud.ftc.gov.
