They have absolutely horrible customer service. I opened a account with them and I have been trying for 2 full weeks to get it up and running. I can't get any help from anyone over there. Also for some odd reason they have trapped a couple of hundred bucks in the account not letting me move it. Definitely do not use them

Disappearing transactions, inaccurate balances, random fees- I've been a customer for 10+ years and they are always pm off. Do not use this bank if you have a choice!! They will inevitably disappoint you and take your money.

Completely incompetent! Banking here has been a nightmare. All fine until something goes wrong on their end and problems start. Customer service is just simply horrible !

This company is garbage. I've waited over an hour multiple times to try to close an account they are draining money from and creating fees against. How can a company operate in a way in which they do not allows their account holders to contact them, and continue to take money from them and not let them close their accounts?

Do NOT use US Bank! They have the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I had a family member with an account. I went to the *** ***** branch in Littleton, Co several times to help with their banking. Each time I was treated like a criminal. I finally closed out their account. I went in again after to ask a question and again was treated terribly. If you want a bank with no people skills/customer service and employees with NO personality then it’s a good place. Otherwise, I would take my money and run to a financial institution that values their customers!

Deposited cash in ATM at bank….
Machine gave me a recipe w/ phone number to call….immediately drove into drive in 12feet from ATM….
gave the non-recipe to teller…. She started to explain I should contact the number….. asked for better explanation…. advised to enter bank and talk w manager…… nothing he can do…… file a claim and wait 10-45 days to see claim( deposit) processed.
Done with this deteriorating institution…. Can’t retain help…..
misinformation on loans…. Pull back on written contracts on funding for Real Estate… basically they ****

I Switched from revolving to a fixed rate loan. The next day, USBank states I owe a principal payment the day after I switched over to fixed. I've never heard of a loan payment due the next day after opening it. I made my normal monthly payment, but was not told by anyone that another payment would be assessed the next day after switching to fixed rate. Very unhappy and I've sent a complaint letter to their complaints dept. Waiting for a reply. Before I switched, I spoke with the branch representative, asking how much my payments would be, I'm on a fixed income and retired so I did not want a payment I couldn't afford. She told me how much and I agreed to the $340.33 amount. The next month's bill was $685.56. More than doubled what was stated to me. $198.55 included in that is the principle payment they stated I owed on the next day after switching to a fixed rate loan. I spoke with another rep in the home equity line of credit after I received the shock of the payment due and was told by him it would be fixed. The fix never happened. I called again and was told it was a timing issue made by their program, and there was nothing anyone could do about it. I've sent a letter to complaints and have not paid the extra $198.55, so now they've added late charges on top of that. Now the Branch Manager has left a message for me to call her just today, so that should be interesting. I'm extremely upset with how they allowed a program to do this to their customers and NOT fix it. I have no idea If what they have allowed a programing issue to do is within banking guidelines or even legal; but I will pursue that avenue also.
The Principle of it is very wrong though!!

I opened a checking account with the understanding I would receive a promotional credit. I called the customer care line and the agent assured me it would be issued out in 10 business days as she had submitted the request in. Now an Austin calls and says I never qualified for it. Which is deceiving information. Because he himself said I met all the criteria.

If you want to feel like you dont matter, this is the bank for you. I opened an account with US Bank about two years ago. I opened the accounts with a $8,000 dollar check from a family member. The check was a us bank check. After the deposit the funds were immediately available and I paid some bills. The family member told me that the fraud department contacted them and asked if the check was authorized and they confirmed it was. Two days later US Bank pulled $8,000 from my account and returned it to my family members account without notifying me and leaving me in the negative and charging me fees. They were able to correct the issue after a couple days and many hours on the phone and in the branch. After that experience I didnt use the account very much because I was worried about having a repeat experience. Fast forward to ten days ago when I received my first paycheck from a new job after being unemployed for two months and pretty much exhausting my savings I decide to give us bank another chance. I deposit the check Via the mobile app as Im not close to a branch. The funds are available the next day and all is well. Two days later and the money disappears again with no notification. After many calls ** told the fraud department has put the check on a ten day hold. I explain that I need that money to eat and pay my bills and every person I talk to says there is nothing I can do and no one I can talk to. I called about ten times and got the same response every time. No apology, no empathy, nothing. Im still waiting for the funds to be released and have not eaten in two days. I have also accrued several late fees from credit card companies including my US Bank credit card. I had to take out a high interest payday loan to pay my car payment. All of my coworkers were able to deposit their checks to their banks without issue. Just because I am not wealthy and live paycheck to paycheck does not give US Bank the right to treat people this way.
