      My wife and I were excited to get a new bed, and we decided we weren't going to cheap out this time. We went to the Sleep Number store 2-3 nights before purchasing, and decided to go top of the line. We went with the i10 and the top base, with the assurance on multiple occasions by the salesmen that there is a 100 night sleep trial. You can return the order anytime between 30 and 100 nights for a full refund besides a delivery fee of $250. With how much we were spending, we figured the $250 was worth the cost in the off chance that we wanted to return the bed and base. So we signed the paperwork and patiently waited for the delivery date with excitement.

      Right off the bat, it was inconvenient. When the bed was delivered and setup, everything seemed to be working, but later that night, a lot of the technical features on my side of the bed didn't work (sleep tracking, under bed lighting, responsive air, foot warming). Basically all things that come with the top of the line base that add a significant cost compared to the next lower model. I spent hours troubleshooting with their support team over the course of a week or two before they finally decided the problem was that we needed a new pump. It seemed confusing, because the pump was one of the few things that seemed to be working. But sure enough, once I installed the new pump, all the bells and whistles seemed to be working again. This was short-lived, as they stopped working again within a couple of days, but luckily this time, only one more couple hour call resolved the problem.

      So we used the bed for a few more weeks, but really weren't all that impressed with it. It was fine, but it wasn't nearly worth the cost we paid. I would say it was worth probably half the cost. So I called customer service to start the return, only to be told that the base (which was $4,000), was a final sale and that it could not be returned. Multiple salesmen assured us that both the base and the bed had a 100 night sleep trial and

      So far the company and its employees have been very professional and helpful. While it is expected for such a high end bed purchase it’s nice that they live up to that expectation.

      Fantastic customer care while picking out our bed. Beds tried out, features explained in detail, delivery set up. And we qualified for the healthcare worker discount.
      Can’t wait for our bed to be delivered and set up.
