This company promised to provide monthly financials and failed yet they debited business checking account. Used this company from 01/01/2022-06/12/2023 and paid nearly $10k over that time. Their financials consisted of bank statement transactions and those on bill.com with no reconciliation and multiple errors. Aside from all the "accounting" issues, they had no customer **********************, they would ignore my emails and when they did respond, they would provide me inaccurate information, down to the owner. Their own actions have resulted in a ** Sales Tax audit that I am now involved in..I have documents to support these claims.

CSI Accounting & Payroll provides monthly accounting services for a fixed monthly fee.  These services include bank/credit card reconciliation, tax filing services, financial statements and advisory services for the clients we serve.

The client involve a couple of complaints

    1. The client stated that we did not deliver monthly financial statements.  This is false.  We issued monthly financial statements for each month in which she was a client.  They were delivered to her client portal as stated in the agreement.  We in fact advised her several times on how to access these documents.  She had the ability to login to view these statements and even delivered source documents to us through our portal system.  All the financial statements are still available today in her portal.
    2. The client stated there were accounting issues, but no issues are stated in the complaint.
    3. The client stated there was no customer **********************.  She was in direct communication, sometimes daily with her assigned account manager.  She also talked with the accounting department manager and the payroll department manager on multiple occasions because she felt some tasks were too difficult for the account manager.  This is on top of the email conversations that occurred on a nearly weekly basis.  We have the documentation to support this.  The owner has never spoken with the client.
    4. The client states that we were the cause of a sales tax audit.  The reason the sales tax audit was triggered based on conversations with the auditor is due to the fact that their sales tax has been filed incorrectly in years before we began filing.  We filed the sales tax returns based on her gross receipts as required by MN.  She was filing sales tax returns previously showing gross receipts as just the taxable portion vs reporting all gross receipts and defining taxable vs nontaxable sales.

We always provide all source documentation to the clients in their designated portal.  It is available to her today as it always has been.  She, in fact, reports her taxable sales to us as she uses a separate system for reporting sales, therefore she already has access to the data needed for the audit.  We also produce any ad hoc reports that an auditor may require outside of the source documents we are provided by the client.

    Thanks
