1 starReiterating what another review said: NEVER BUY GIFT CARDS FROM THEM. And I will add, NEVER ORDER GIFT CARDS FROM THEM ONLINE! I ordered a gift card on Nov. 26 and never received it. So I chatted with an agent on December 9 and told them this had not been received. I have in writing from the chat where I was told they would ship again and I would receive the card in 1 to 3 business days (which would have been Dec. 14). Shipping info for the order was updated online and showed I should receive the card by Dec. 16.
On Dec. 16, when logged back in to check status, shipping date had been now been moved further out and showed delivery by Dec. 23. The gift card was only for $20 but when I called Target on Dec. 16 to request my order to be cancelled and the $20 to be refunded (which was charged to me on Nov. 27 for a product I never received), I was told they can't refund or cancel the order. Note there is no where on their site that says they can't cancel a gift card - only that you can't return it. I can't return something I never received!! All they could offer is to ship again, which at this point is another empty promise. The principle is that a large corporation like this should care more about fair practices and do the right thing when they fail to deliver. I paid for something I didn't receive and Target refuses to give me a refund - how is that different from stealing from me as a customer? I have filed a compliant with BBB and am also warning others not to order a gift card online - you may or may not get it and Target will NOT give you money back even when you don't receive the card. This was only $20, but it wouldn't matter the amount, they'd still have taken my money for a product never received. Any company so adamant about NOT making things right with a customer, I won't do business with again. They've lost another customer for life.Review fromRhonda B

1 starI placed an order for 3 lighters. The order arrived with a receipt for 3 lighters but only one lighter was included in the package. I called and was refunded for 2 items. I placed a 2nd order for 2 more lighters. This time paying shipping. Very frustrated. When this order was delivered the receipt said there were 2 lighters, but once again I only received 1 lighter. I made the call once again and was told that I would need to have refund and then place another order for the 1 lighter I still had not received. All I wanted was to receive what I had paid for. I spent a total of 1.5 hours on the phone and chat and still have not received my items. I am very frustrated and do not intend to buy from Target again. Their customer service was horrible and unhelpful. I am very disappointed. I bought from them instead of Amazon because I am trying to move away from ordering from Amazon, but at this point I am tempted to go back. Very disappointing.Review fromQuasherrah M

They refuse to give me a refund or even a reshipment.
Claimed to have had an investigation and that they confirmed delivery without signature or photo and that they are high risk items and they can't do anything to file a claim.
I can't even make a claim on UPS website because they closed the dispute.
I made a report with the police on target itself providing shipping company info as well. And now I'm making this review.
I've been going back and forth with them for a whole week now and all I get is Sorry. Sorry nothing I want my money!
If these items were so high risk a signature should be required but no... They just handing packages away. Then have the nerve to tell me that my delivery was confirmed.
Target stole 424.59$ out my account and it's almost Christmas without a resolution or a real investigation. The website is crooks as of a whole they lost me as a costumer. I'll stay with Walmart & Amazon.
I want my refund Target. I want my money back. I have no package and now I'm out of 424.59$
Sad and ridiculous is all I have to say.
There policy needs to be looked at and need to do better with servicing ppl who are willing to spend hard earned money. Thieves!!!Review fromKi K

1 starNEVER BUY GIFT CARDS FROM THEM.
Purchased two gift cards, $50 Apple and $50 Google play from Target store for my children.
We tried to use the gift cards number of times throughout 2 days, but both of them did NOT work. We visited local Target store then they said contact Target gift card service center. so We called them three times but they hung up on us couple times and last thing they kept repeating is they are not responsible for the gift cards products so we need to contact each individual product providers to resolve the issues. To me this is defected product they sold to us but they are saying that they are not responsible. This sounds like scam to me. Once they sold product, that is it. They don't stand behind or correct issues for what they are selling in their store. We told them this is way too much of our time to use these defected gift cards so we simply requested a refund. We have a receipts on hand. But they are refusing to do so and hung up on our calls.Review fromAJ L

1 starThe English barrier is too troublesome to navigate. I feel badly but they do not speak ******** English and so they get frustrated and disconnect the call or keep you on the line for an inordinate length of time to cause you to hang up. Even when everything is going well the customer service is barely mediocre. Although I do not like Amazon, they do train their customer service reps to resolve problems before they get to the point where you have to write a review. Target has some of the most bottom tier service. The associates aren't trained, they will not help you and even the in store associates are untrained or arrogant. Someone who claimed to be a supervisor recently told me that Target did not have a customer service phone number and that you could not place an order by phone. When I asked him three times how that's possible he repeatedly confirmed that there was no supervisor available, that he was the supervisor and that there were only two ways to place an order, by app or online. My order is only $300.00, but I have decided to go to ******* because they had the same item and it was $13 cheaper. Their website works, unlike Target. They also sell your personal information. In order to prevent your name and address from being sold, you have to opt out. I recommend that nobody order from target online. The only problem with that is that even if you purchase in store, they can still sell your information but unless you provided an address or attached an email to a POS system, they may not have all of your information yet. But as frightening as it is, once you provide any information at all, its free for all. You don't have to give permission to any specific store, they can email you and sell your name once they have it. Target appears to be the more insidious of the privacy pirates.Review fromJay A.

1 starI had purchased online during the sales of the PS5 release of God of wars. I purchased several times from different store. Finally I had purchased one from the ************** store and I called to confirm that my order was there so I could go to pick it up. When I called the store at guess services they canceled my order. I then proceeded to call and talk to try to speak with the store manager he tried to blame the system instead of taking responsibility for cancelling my order when I called electronics to verify they had them the lady said they did. She told me that even though I placed an online order if some one in-store even though I reserved it they sale it to the person in the store. I call other stores to verify. I they proceed to place an order at a different store to try to obtain the deal. They say they had them online but order would not go through but the continue to charge my bank card. My card got locked up my money was held for 5 days. I called another store to see if they had them they say they had plenty. But I was far away from that store. Did not know if I make it there with out them holding it. That's why I paid online. I requested a compensation and for the district manager and or regional manager to call me and. Speak with me. I never got a call. This is terrible. Please I am requesting compensation for this . Thank you for your cooperation in this matter. I look forward to speaking with you and you resolving this . 1 starI am filing a complaint for the service I received when I tried to return some goods to the store. For some reason, 9 out of the 10 items were not eligible to return to store, so I called the customer service /relation department, and they told me I could certainly return it to the store and advised me to go to the store again for returns. I went back the the prices corner store in Wilmington Delaware today on Black Friday. The line of pickup / returns were not long (less than 10 people), but the guy was not willing to proceed my return even though I had the customer relation (Barry) on the line to guide them how to do as customer service in the store didn’t how to resolve my returns. The guy in the store asked me to come back to the store again as they don’t have time to troubleshoot my returns issue on Black Friday even though the line was short (Barry already said it is super easy and quick to resolve my return issue). He heard what Barry said and threw my stuff to the back of the cart, and I wasn’t clear what was going on. I had to clarify with Barry if there is anything the store or I need to do. Barry from the target relation department was great and eventually processed the return, but that guy in the prices corner Wilmington Delaware was very unprofessional and impatient when the line of pickup/returns was cleared in couple mins. He could have spent few mins to listen to the target relation (Barry) instructions and helped me instead of asking me to come back because they don’t have time to troubleshoot return issues on Black Friday. What type of customer service is that? If they don’t have enough training on the customer service employees, they need to spend some more time to train them as that is the first line of defense for the business. 1 starI was only able to order online once and after that order they cancel every order. They flagged my account for irregularities but can’t tell me what caused it. None of my orders I tried to place were suspicious or for a large dollar amount. The order today that got canceled was only $50 and some change. 1 starWORST CUSTOMER SERVICE and VERY SHADY privacy system
someone used my account and used my gift card to buy at the store, and only thing they do is "change my password" and offer me a $5 coupon.
I asked for a higher manager and they sent me around and around.. and I am on the phone for like an hour. I just want reimbursement and baby registry coupon back
