      I have had this life insurance policy for *************************** with this company for over 20 years under policy number TBL537276 for $4.55 per month. I issued a check for $27.30 which covers 6 months premium (which I have done for that last few years) but the check was incorrectly cashed for $2,730.00 on 8/23/2023 in error. The company issued me a refund on 9/11/2023 for $2,010.70 but kept $719.30 for future premiums. I called the company immediately requesting additional refund of future premium in the amount of $692.00 and the company agreed to send me the refund. I have not received any additional refund check and was told on every call I made since that the refund check was being sent back to me. The last contact I had with the company on 3/11/2024 I was told again the check was being issued then I was put on hold and was told the check was previously issued and cashed. They would not let me speak with a manager on any of the calls and they would not give me any information regarding when this $692.00 refund check was issued or cashed. I was told that a manager would call me back with this information the next day on 3/12/2024 but as of today 3/21/2024 I have not received a call from the company. At this time, I just want my refund for the over payment of future premium because it was never my intention to pay ***** years of future premium.

      My father ******************************* DOB 6/9/1935 opened a Reliastar/Voya Insurance Company Life Insurance Policey in 2/2004. for the amount of $500k.Have paid the yearly premiums for 10 years that equates to approximately$160k.Submitted a request on 1/24/2024 for payout of the policy after my fathers death on 1/13/2024.Requested an update on 2/20/2024 and they still had not ent out any information to the Benificerairs.Folowed up on 2/23/2024 to check status of packets. Nothing sent yet but assured that the packets would be received within 7-10 business days.2/27/2024 Packets supposedly were being sent and would be received in 7-10 days.3/11/2024 Sent follow-up email asking why we still haven't received the packets.This is terrible business and feel like they are stalling to send the money out. Why can't a large company fullfill there duties for a product that has been bought? Would like to have the BBB assist with this issue.

      I have a 15 year term life policy. The 15 year ends this month. And you are trying to continue this policy at a very high rate.I want to stop the renewal. I want my policy cancelled , my agreement was for 15 years.And I don't need the policy anymore. My house is all but paid off. Every time I call voice recorder says 2 hour wait or call back in 2 days. Poor customer service

      I have fallen behind on my life insurance payments due to having some issues with my bank. I called the life insurance company after everything was settled to make a payment. I thought everything was all settled and done and I was good to go. Today I get a letter from them saying my policy has lapsed due to non payment. I thought they set up an automatic withdrawal from my account when I provided it over the phone to an agent. After being with them for 10 years they cancel my insurance without even giving me a courtesy call or an email, or a warning letter to let me know that theres an issue. Super disappointing. I do not recommend this company to anyone. There are plenty of other more legitimate companies you can go through.

      I have two life insurance policies thru this company (Voya/Reliastar) which I have been paying for for over 28 years. I have been trying for three weeks to contact this company at ************** to inquire about a letter I received from them stating my beneficiary has been changed per my request...but I never requested a change. I would like to cash-out/surrender both these policies but I am unable to reach anyone. I have called many times and am placed in a cue where I wait for over 1 1/2 hours without EVER being connected...and there is no option to leave a message for a return call. I have left emails with no answer also. I discovered the company was sold in 2000/2001 to Resolution Life Insurance but Resolution is unable to access my records/policies and they send me to the same phone number where I there is no answer. I have paid for these policies for so many years, and now it seems I have been scammed!!! I pay quarterly for these policies and the checks are sure cashed promptly. I would like to have the company answer my questions as promptly.....please help me reach them!

      I retained my ex husbands life insurance policy. I want to make the premium payment and its been impossible to reach anyone to take my payment. Ive left my call back phone number multiple times and no one has returned my calls. This is not professional and makes me question the integrity of the firm.

      On March 8, 2023 I received a letter from the company dated February 23,2023 stating my policy has expired. It said that if I did not call within 30 days from the date of the letter, I would continue to be billed, but at a rate that was twice what the original policy cost. I called and waited 2 hours on hold. When I did get to a representative, I was told that she would send me a form to fill out to cancel the already lapsed policy and once they received it, it would take an additional ***** days to cancel. (This would put me beyond the 30 days from the date of the letter) I ask to speak with a supervisor so I can cancel policy over the phone. The letter I received said to call, so I don't understand why I can do it by phone. I then spoke with ****** and was given the same run around, then line went staticky for 15 more minutes, all the while I could hear typing in the background. Then suddenly, in a very clear voice, I was asked by an automated attended to rate the service, which I did, then was disconnected. All I want is for the policy to be canceled and to not be billed any more. I am very disappointed in these cheap tricks to grab an additional payment out of me.

      After over ten plus years of faithless payments to Reliastar Life Insurance Company my coverage lapsed. I did not receive follow up phones call or notice to ensure a timely payment was received. I was not given the option of an automatic withdrawal for continuous and timely payments. I am in my 40s and these tactics by ReliaStar Life Insurance Company are unethical in nature. Why? Because I am in 40s they are likely finding a way to drop customers to reduce financial liability. They made a nice amount of money off and now it is time to move on to the next unsuspecting customer. Life ********************** companies are financially successful when decisions are based on statistics It easy decision to insure individuals in there 20s but they become more risky in their 40s. Management likely wants to find a way to dump risky consumers and move to on to the next unsuspecting customer. Statistically, he will likely do nothing but move on which is their logic. At this time my family is without life insurance coverage for myself because of these unethical business practices. I felt I was in good hands with ReliaStar due to their rating but that is clearly not the case. I am in the process of seeking life insurance through another company. To all other customers considering ReliaStar please be cautious. I sent a copy of this email to the appropriate regulatory agencies. I am crossing fingers they will look into the matter to ensure all customers with families with be taken of throughout their business relationship with ReliaStar. Most likely these tactics are part of widespread pattern of behavior by the management team at ReliaStar. I do think they are deliberating trying to find ways to drop their riskier customer base. To everyone else be cautious.

      Request for a Partial Policy withdrawal policy 7211397.All the paperwork has been submitted including a sign off by the collateral assignee.They are continuing to ask for a corporate resolution/signatory list of authorized person from assignee, from Matsco which has been acquired by ***** Fargo. The vice president of Well Fargo emailed them directly to sign off. I keep getting form letters back.

       I am rejecting this response because: ReliaStar has NOT responded. I also would like to request removal of the Agent assigned to the policy since she is refusing to work with me. I would like to know if any portion of my service premiums go to her or if she is paid in any way. Her name is ***********************************. My husband also would like to have her removed as agent on his policy ***************************** policy #*******.

      I think this process would have been a lot easier if my assigned agent would have guided the process. That said it is very difficult to work with three companies, ReliaStar, Voya and ***** Fargo alone without an agent. Today ***************** stated to contact the insurance company for a new agent.

      I had to get my own illustrations, submit my own application and deal with Voya's customer service when an agent would have been able to expedite this process. Now the last bit of paperwork has finally been submitted and I am told that it will take an additional ten days to review this application. I started this process a month ago.

      I will be reporting the agent to her licensing bureau.
