      AVOID like the plague. Its been 6months since we tried to collect on a death claim, providing a stack of probate and succession paperwork, death cert, etc. The runaround is stunning. The stonewalling is constant. We cant read this (high def scan) Youre just the executor/trustee, not the beneficiaries (its a trust and Im the trustee and they have the paperwork) We dont see the appointment letter oh wait here it is It is appalling. There is apparently NO supervisor or manager to speak with according to them. Legal doesnt take calls from claimants, and theres no escalation process for claims or complaints so you cant follow up stateside (the call center is overseas). NEVER do business with ****.

      awful. Just awful ,they want all information about the death of my Husband before they can tell me how much is the death benefits. they have no compassion for you loved one when has passed. when I asked to speak to supervisior i was informed that there is no super visor today

      Paid premiums for 45 years with my company ********** through auto deduct from payroll every two weeks for a premium noted by the coverage when I signed up. I received my annual report for period December 1,2022-December ****** stating that my Policy will terminate if minimum premium payment was not received in the amount of $340.28 by May ******. When I called they said that the rates had increased yet they were still deducting the premium amount and invoicing my company for that same amount with NO notice that the rate would be increased for the amount of coverage I had. It took me calling six different times and getting my HR department involved to have them tell me that I needed to request a re-projection for the policy in order for it to retain a value and cover the premium expense.........NO notice until I made this call for this to occur. You would have thought that each year as we age, they would notify us and let us know of the increase and provide options of how we can proceed. Needless to say I am walking away after paying for 45 years with nothing and will never recommend or do business with this company or any Voya company EVER. I have told my HR department of the issue and will address this with the others that hold polices at this time. The absolute worse experience with a policy like this now that it could be exercised. This is criminal behavior and NEVER use this company or you are paying for nothing!

      These people are hucksters and incompetents. I have waited for a claimant form going on 5 weeks and now they want me to start the process again even after their 3rd party ************** has approved all my documents. They hustle teachers. So beware.

      I paid my annual premium for 45! years in a row. When I missed a payment, ReliaStar sent a letter dated 6 weeks before it mysteriously arrived in my mailbox only TWO days before the "Final" due date. So I sent a check overnight to the ONLY address on their letterhead. Guess what - that address DOESN'T accept overnight mail!! WHAT?? The only address on the letterhead doesn't accept overnight mail, and doesn't say that on the letterhead? So ReliaStar rejected my overnight payment. Did they forward it to somewhere else in the company? Nope. They rejected it so that *** had to return it (for another $65)!! Also, there is NO phone number on their letterhead. Reliastar then canceled my policy. 45 years paying them and then they screwed me. Unbelievable. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. YOU WILL REGRET IT.

      Trying to get a statement for my IRA **** since July 2023. Say they will send it same day of phone call will arrive 7-10 business days...never happens. Always get someone in ***********. Was told they have no representation in ***. After many requests was told by ***** in *********** that she could not send me a current statement for security reasons that I must contact my financial advisor have them call & request a statement be faxed to them which has been done & was told it would be faxed immediately. 2 days later no fax received. Very alarming. Am in process of communicating with my Senator regarding this company.

      Anyone, I mean anyone (especially the elderly) who uses this company, I feel very sorry for them! They are literally ripping people off and then they hide and dance around circles using words that most don't understand. People think they have life insurance, have been paying for it all their lives, think they cash value, have paid for a policy three times over (example: policy only worth $15,000, have been paying since MARCH of 1991, an astronomical amount was paid, the price on the policy increased tremendously, have paid a total of roughly $40,000 on the policy) just to be told that the policy has no cash value! I don't even know how these people sleep at night with the way they do business. Why they are still in business I will never ever know! I would not use them ever and I recommend that NO ONE uses their services. People, NEVER BUY A UNIVERSAL POLICY, it is garbage and the know, but again prey on those who are vulnerable and innocent as to how life insurance works. Invest your money in an *** or money market account and make it work for you. Invest in something where you can see and get a return on your money. STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM VOYA AS YOU CAN!!!!! AGAIN STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM VOYA AS YOU CAN!!! RUN RUN RUN!!!! I CAN NOT GIVE ANY STARS, THEY GET 0 STARS!!!!! ONLY BECAUSE I HAVE TO DO A STAR, I DID ONE!!!!

      This is absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with. They randomly send amounts due with no explanation at all. Trying to talk to them is like talking to a wall and no one there can help. I have had this policy for 30+ years and it is a shame that I may now lose it due to their policies and habits that make absolutely no sense. I guess that is how we are treated as we get older and theyre afraid that you might actually have to use the policy.

      Unacceptable!! I had a 10 year life insurance policy that concluded April15 2024. The company sent me no notice that they were going to SIGN ME UP for a policy that was more for 3 months then I had been paying for a full year for 10 years. I did not receive any notice of this and luckily I checked my checking account and found they had withdrawn$976.53 without my approval. I contacted company and they told me I should have received some notice and they will send a refund within 30 days. To me this is THEFT!!!

      Horrible! Don't use them! They've been messing up our account for months. We paid them in full in December and received a termination notice in January! When I called to see what happened, I got someone in ***** who hung-up on me.
