      As a long time client (over 10 years) I am extremely disappointed in ReliaStar's lack of integrity. My life insurance has been suspended due to lack of payment yet, per their representative's own admission, the payment was made on time and was simply not credited to my account. Simple accounting error. Happens.However, my account will remain suspended during their internal investigation that will last 20 - 25 business days! I find it completely unacceptable that I am punished for ReliaStar's error!!

      I am having the same problems that everyone else has reported. My bills are paid through my ******************* Pay. Every 2 or three years ReliaStar lapses my policy for non payment. When calling them they keep transferring me to someone else and the last one says it will be a 3 or 4 hour wait. Even my bank can't get through to anyone to correct THEIR error.I am curious as to how this company is allowed to do business. Why do people have to fight to keep a policy that has been paid for?This is harassment. I am looking into pursuing it.

      We were sent an envelope to pay our premium and sent it. The check wasn't cashed and I called on it. I was told the ** Box I sent the payment to (from the company) was closed. They asked for account information, as my payment was now considered late. I gave it to them and was told if they got the check they would just charge the new premium. The check went through for $1,100 a few days later. And after that - instead of the $281 due - they charged $1400, doubling our premium. I cobtacted them May 12 and was told a refund would come to me in about 10 days. Called again June 3 and was told the check was mailed June 1 and would take 7 - 10 business days. June 14 and still no check - over 1 month after the original conversation. No where else in ***************** does it take 2 weeks to get mail from ****** to ****

      I paid my wife's life insurance on September 29, 2022. On Oct ********************************************************************************** danger of being canceled. Therefore, I logged on to the web and paid the policy with a debit from my checking account ( Funds were withdrawn from my account on Oct 19, 2022). Then on November, 1 2022, my check dated September 29, 2022 was cashed. I have called the company 4 times now requesting a refund for the extra payment I made. I would like it refunded immediately.

      I unfortunately bought a policy through Voya that is with Reliastar. They draft out of my account automatically each month. When I called customer service I got transferred to all these other numbers with people saying they can't find a policy for me. The last number I was given I was on hold for 42 minutes and just hung up.
