I completed my classes honestly and justly. This company sanctioned my account stating I logged in on multiple computers! I absolutely did! I work for the State and I practically live on the road. So I would definitely need to sign in on my work computer, hotel computer and phone at times. These people told me I breached the honor code. Their honor code does not say I could not log in from different laptops or devices. I appealed their decision and they denied my appeal. I am definitely okay with that, as I don't want this to happen to anyone else. I have gathered all of my evidence on any device I ever signed in on and they all come back to me! I am working with a legal team as I will never get back the time I put in doing these classes. Stay away from this online learning platform!!! They charged my card, received their money and then came up with this bogus story!

Evidence found through our investigation indicates coursework was completed by individuals other than the user. Our Student Affairs Team communicated this to the user and provided an opportunity to respond with any evidence or rationale. The Sophia **************************** reviewed the users response alongside the observed account activity and determined that the rationale presented did not sufficiently address the honor code violation.Review fromBenjamin S

They refunded $99 because I forgot to cancel my membership. I wish they offered more classes (the only negative thing about them). I finished 7 classes in a month!! Thank you guys so much.Sophia Learning, LLC

I think most of the complaints are only because they didn't like their grades. I went through multiple courses, and I enjoyed it. I breezed through my general electives in only a couple of months. The courses were informative, and I got all the credits transferred without any issues. I was planning to take more classes through them after I complete my master's degree and begin working. I appreciated the harsher grading; it pushed me to try harder and become better. Most people run away from a challenge and expect things to be given to them. They think they are entitled to a better grade even when it isn't earned.Sophia Learning, LLC

Horrible graders for English composition 2. Particularly *******************************. Gave me 13/50 with feedback , I resubmit the essay with many positive changes and he proceeds to give a 12/50? Why are you telling me to make changes if you are going to give a worse grade if I do so? The head of the grading department for this class also was no help as I emailed him, but his responses were avoiding my concerns.Sophia Learning, LLC

There is a belief that these practices have unfairly disadvantaged individuals with language barriers, leading to inconsistent grading outcomes that do not accurately reflect the merit of submitted work.As the student faces language barriers, he has consistently encountered difficulties effectively communicating ideas and knowledge in written assignments. Despite ******* efforts, the student has observed biased grading patterns, particularly those affecting individuals encountering linguistic obstacles. The grading process lacks transparency, consistency, and fairness, thereby casting doubt on the integrity of the evaluation system at Sophia Learning.Given these concerns, the student proactively sought feedback on his work from multiple professors who specialize in the subject matter of his assignments. Surprisingly, independent professors' grades and feedback differed significantly from those assigned by Sophia Learning. Transphobic and unethical. Force students to use names that are harmful, unsafe and part of domestic violence cases, and refuse to act ethically and offer a refund. Looking at their reviews here, I'm appalled.Sophia Learning, LLC

I recently completed the Calculus 1 class through Sophia. The class itself was great! It was easy to understand, and I would have easily gone through it in under 2 months if I were not currently in high school. As I'm taking many other classes, though, it took me around 5 months to complete this class. I started with a 1 month membership, and realized that I would need more than that, so I upgraded to 4 month. Then, nearing the end of my 4 month term, I wasn't quite done with the class, so I was planning on renewing one more time with a 1 month subscription.To my horror, 2 days before the end of my subscription, I found out that once you have upgraded your subscription, there's no going back! I couldn't just get another month to finish the course and I still had around 10 days of work and 12 hours of testing left! Not wanting to spend another $300 dollars, I had to pull 2 back to back all-nighters to finish all of this work in minimal time. Similarly, I barely kept my 4.0 because of this colossal blunder. I am very unsatisfied with the quality of service which is provided.Sophia Learning, LLC

I am currently taking the English Composition I course and received a 28/50 on an assignment that I received good comments with minor things to fix. I think that is very misleading. When it's been reviewed by educated teachers who have taught for years, they do not understand why I received such a bad grade. This is very disappointing.Sophia Learning, LLC

This is a good way to earn additional credits before college however it's very frustrating when you doing a course and the verification is giving trouble and you have to be waiting for the next business day to get intouch with someone to fix the problem. In that it takes away the time you set aside to do these course when you can't get to complete them when you want to and their sms option never works that's my only drawback here.Sophia Learning, LLC
