      Being that ******** is super expensive, I can only get 30 days at a time, for my elderly mom.I had to go out of town, tried to get just 1 week early refill. After being approved, and re-sibmitting the prescription to *********, was denied again, for insurance.This place makes it almost impossible, to get your medicine, before you run out. Find another prescription provider!!!!!!!!!

      The lab messed up on my blood work and my doctor had me go back to get my blood work redone. The lab didn't do all the tests that my doctor submitted to the lab. My insurance covered the first blood work, but the second one I'm required to pay the difference. There is no account ability by Optum and due to their mistake, I wasted my time getting blood work done again and have to pay out of pocket due to their mistake. Their is no accountability and just got AI message in response stating I still need to pay.

      I have had GEHA dental for approximately 13 years. I never really had any issues with them until recently. My daughter needed a root canal done by an ****************** only had one in network office. The tooth previously had a stainless steel ************ had to go through the crown to fix the tooth. Unfortunately the claim was denied by GEHA. They said their records didnt indicate that there was a crown on that tooth. After checking, it was determined that they did in fact pay on a stainless steel crown 2 years earlier. How do you miss that? I filed an appeal literally within days after the ************* keep claiming that they have not received any documentation from the dentist. I will say that the dentist office is not the best either but how does an insurance company not have receipt of something mailed in a month ago & faxed a week ago. Im beginning to think they are incompetent or maybe they just dont want to pay the claim. Either way Im not satisfied after paying thousands of dollars youd think they could get basic stuff right. Not only are they incompetent but they are not advanced when it comes to technology. You cant view EOBs on the website & when they send messages via email its encrypted. Thats great for security purposes but its so encrypted that I cant even view it & apparently no one can fix it. I am seriously contemplating going to a different insurance provider. ************************ have been nice but they cant give me any answers to my questions. The dentist office refuses to issue me a refund until GEHA processes the appeal. Both the dentist office and GEHA are putting the blame on each other. If you are considering GEHA as an option for your dental work then please read the fine print. They are great for the basics but if you need expensive stuff like root canals be prepared for denials, incompetence & excuses!

      This company fails to provide ***'s by mail as requested and is not easily accessible via Firefox for online access. They have failed to respond to 5 submissions/appeals filed for accident information requested for 5/6/2024 ER Visit. They have failed to respond to requests for how to obtain an EOB when I can't open it via their website and by mail. They have requested unnecessary testing/procedures before authorizing a surgery. They have also not responded to teh following questions: 3. Why my prior approved surgery on 6/10/2024 has now been denied and termed an accident 4. How many times will i need to provide the information that the surgery on 6/10/2024 was not accident 5. why you keep choosing to designate my medical care as being a result of an accident

      I just want it to be known that an agent by the name of ******* **********, is making promises regarding coverages on certain medications that are NOT covered! I have never in my life been so upset. I now am paying for insurance I can barely afford and my medication I am needing is NOT covered and there is no way I could afford out of pocket. That is why I went with this company because ******* the agent reassured me over and over that the medication was covered under my plan.

      I received a called from OptumRX and the message said it was regarding one of my medications. Then it said something about me being selected to receive a $100 voucher. I continue the call and finally spoke to an agent. After speaking to her and provided my information, she wanted me to provide a credit card number and said there will be a shipping cost of < $2 to receive the $100 voucher. I told her I don't want it and connect me to someone that I need to talk to. She wouldn't let me go and said it was a required procedure before she can give me the right phone number to call. I asked multiple times and explicitly said I don't want the voucher. I should have just hung up but instead, I gave my credit card info. Now I felt I have been scammed.

      I was required to get prior approval for a medication. My pharmacy acted quickly and got it approved for me. However, my pharmacy was then informed they couldnt fill my prescription because my insurance required it to be filled at their own specialty pharmacy, Optum RX. To make matters worse, they provided them with a non-working number to contact them. After finally tracking down the correct number, I spoke with a representative who was difficult to understand. They informed me that my pharmacy needed to call Optum RX to transfer the prescription. Once they receive the prescription, Im expected to call back again just to get the prescription filled.This entire process has been convoluted, time-consuming, and incredibly frustrating, especially when dealing with necessary medications. The lack of proper communication and the endless hoops to jump through make me seriously question whether they care about their customers well-being or trying everything to make it harder for folks to get the medications they need.

      This insurance company is the worst. I had my service disconnected in May. They tried to bill me for a time when it was not active. Avoid at all costs. also, to cancel they drag it out and you can never get someone to say its canceled. Meanwhile they send me another bill but I don't have health insurance through them anymore.

      The billing staff is the absolute worst. They are not professional. They have poor management skills, poor communication skills, lack of knowledge when it comes to billing, very rude and unfriendly to talk to. The representative will talk over you.I have called about a bill numerous times and provided them all the insurance information that they need. They have so-called process the claims to the insurance, but when Ive called the insurance, the insurance has nothing on file. They cannot understand how to process claims. I my self am a ****** for over 15 years and have never treated nor rush a patient off the phone. I was sent to collections in error without warning. I will also be reporting then to the *************.

      The main issue I run into is not being able to get in contact with anyone for a claim. Very frustrating calling multiple times and going through an automated service just for the call to fail or accidentally get hung up on. Other than that my coverage is exactly what I pay for.
