United Healthcare in ****** ** on ********** took my copay but the provider refused to give me a nebulizer treatment or speak any further to me even though my asthma was flaring so bad I couldn't speak or stop coughing. They told me to "go to emergency.". After they took my copay and refused to give me any care I had to call an ambulance for myself. So they took my copay and treated my like I was a dog. Please be careful with these people. They take your money and don't give you basic human decency. I have never been treated like this in my life. This has to be some kind of fraud.UnitedHealth Group

************ and House call as a team has proven to be inefficient and lack of concerned and no intention to get involve for resolution.I had my house call visit on 4/25/2024 and was to receive a $50.00 gift card to arrive 8 to 10 weeks after the visit. As of today, I have not received the gift card.Despite of many calls to both companies, only action I receive is House call transfer the calls to United Health. United Health then transfers me back to House call ********* care and neither of the team willing to take initiative for **************** call set up the following complaint cases CMP ******* and CMP ******* with a request a call back from a customer service supervisor for status, as of today cricket from anybodys.United Health process a complaint case I44522246 and the customer service leads promises to call back and follow up, to my surprise the promises was never intended to keep.This will be my last appointment with House call as my time is worth more than the compensation at this point and very costly advertisements for the program.UnitedHealth Group

This is to update of the original complaint.. As of today, still no resolution. At first, there was several call from United Health with assurance to assist for resolution. As of today, no resolution and I have attempted several calls to the representative assign to assist till resolution, no surprised, no call back. Again promised not intended to keep. *** is the worst insurance company that I have ever had. They denied, denied, denied claims without comprehend-able reasons. My spouses surgery claims were denied on many occasions - *** was his primary and ******** was his secondary insurance. I called many times, completed online questionnaires, emailed with regard to not having an accident and a third party was not responsible, ************ Comp., until resolution for some claims. Ambulance claims repeatedly denied The last claim to transport my spouse after a fall in an *** which eventually resulted in death was denied after 15 months of the date of service - all data was repeatedly provided to for them to process.UnitedHealth Group

I am an employee for a county that has health insurance through ***. Recently COVID numbers in my area increased and employees were encouraged to purchase tests and be reimbursed through UMR health insurance. I did this. Followed the directions only to have my claim denied. Since my claim in July was denied I didn't get reimbused so I couldn't buy tests in August. I'm not likely to trust that I will get reimbursed for this expense in the future. I guess that is how companies like *** stay profitable.UnitedHealth Group

1 starNot consistent with helping. Not telling truth. Some of their so-called advocates who play games with the old and sick should be ashamed of themselves. I'm surprised with technology they are not reprimanded for not doing what they are paid to do. If you call 30 minutes before they are scheduled to leave for the day they don't answer their phone lines. The slacking is uncalled for and they truly don't want to help Some. What disappointed me the most is the lying. Even though I have everything logged on my end they treat me as an imbosol and I have called twice to let them know due to physicians informing me they received a particular diagnosis from insurance company. Both physicians couldn't believe it. The last time I received the falsehoods of lies after leaving a virtual visit I called directly afterward and the customer service representative which they now call themselves advocates lete know " We apologize Ms ****** WE just removed those diagnoses for you". Very strangely wicked and how evil Some NOT so laid plans fail on them. If anyone reads this I want to make sure they know I'm a grateful NEW CREATURE and give daily Thanksgiving, but My Father would want me to call them put for being shallow, narrow-minded and without compassion for the sick and old. US Healthcare Group has not paid one ***** of my ER bill which is over $10,000! My bill has been outstanding for 9 months. Ive constantly called them due to my hospital bill being overdue and all they say is its under review. Ive been put into collections because of this and am constantly harassed by the hospital. I do not recommend anyone to sign up with them because they will not help you. The customer service is awful!UnitedHealth Group

1 starFor 2 months I have been trying to get reimbursed for my OOP dental expense from a crown. Each time I am told that the claim is pending more info and each time my dentist office sends the reqd info. I confirmed with ********** that docs were received both times and was told it will be processed in a few weeks. However after a few weeks with no reimbursement I am told they never received the docs! This is incredible - they just dont want to pay. the first time the docs were sent was on 7/23 (emailed to as directed) and worked with **** I called and confirmed on 7/29 the docs were received by UHC. ) The second set was emailed 8/19 to *************** (Spoke to uhc appeals) Today I call and they tell me nothing has been received!Review fromJim A

Luckily I do not need to call this company too often! But when I do...it is impossible to use the phone tree if you do not have the specific problem and getting through to customer service is next to impossible. I do not understand why huge companies like this insist on having these awful phone trees. And, please have native English speakers as it is difficult to speak on the phone with English as a second language person. Stop with the overly pleasant replies every time the customer responds to a question, it is belittling and annoying. Horrible, just horrible service.UnitedHealth Group
