  Working with Hoffman Weber was a stress free process from start to finish. After moving my mother into assisted living I discovered the roof on her house needed replacing due to hail damage. I had contacted a contractor (whose name I won't bother to mention) who I gave the claim number to twice and never heard back from him. (He did call again.... over a week after the job was completed.)
  It was at this time I contacted Hoffman Weber. I received a call from Al Lien and we set up a time to meet. We met and it was determined the roof needed replacing. I explained to Al the experience I had just had and my situation with other things going on in life and that this job needed to get done. It was also getting into the early part of Nov. and the window of opportunity to get the job done was getting narrow. I told Al if he could make this happen the job was his. He assured me that he could make it happen and would be present when the adjuster came out. Two days later I got a call from the adjuster but due to his circumstances he wouldn't be able to do the inspection for another 10 days which was the Tuesday afternoon before Thanksgiving. Al had already made travel plans to leave that Tues. morning for his Thanksgiving destination. I contacted Al letting him know the circumstances and I understood why he wouldn't be able to make it. Honestly I was a little anxious having the thought of dealing with the adjuster, I would rather leave that to the pros. Well prayers answered! I received a text from Al telling me I was on his schedule and would be there to meet the adjuster.
  Al was there to meet the adjuster and from that time on it was smooth sailing. The claim was approved and Al took the bull by the horns and made things happen. The roof replacement went exactly as scheduled and looks great. The experience with Hoffman Weber was a positive one. Al was a great guy to work with and I find him to be a genuine person and feel he was key in making this all come together.

  We had a tight deadline to get the work done before closing on our home. Aaron ********** and Curt ****** worked some magic for us and got everything completed with a day to spare. The work was done very well and everyone was happy with the results. Kudos and many thanks to Aaron and Curt! ??

  I will give my name! Steve ******** and I would give HWC a 5 star rating for the work they have done to my home. Very professional, communication was great and the sales individual was very easy to talk to. The Hoffman And Webber team that completed my house was very professional and the work they completed was great. After the job was complete I was very satisfied with the end result. I would like to thank Hoffan And Webber for a great job on my home. Thank you!

  My husband and I have had Hoffman and Weber complete many projects on multiple homes over the past several years, including roofing, siding and windows. All projects have been expertly done in a timely fashion. From salespeople to project managers to installation crews, everyone we have dealt with at Hoffman Weber has conducted themselves with upmost professionalism. We could not be happier with their team and the fantastic results they produced! We would not hesitate to refer family and friends to them, and actually have done so on many occasions.

  My home was recently damaged by a severe hail storm and my roof and siding needed replacing.
  Friends of mine had HW replace their roof and were very satisfied with the quality of the whole HW
  team. I typically get 3 bids from contractors and check their history. HW customer reviews were better than the others so I went with them. Everyone form the sales rep the the roofing and siding installers were very polite, professional and skilled. The job was completed within the time frame they predicted and my wife was very happy. The owner of HW came out to perform a quality check at the completion of the project and found an error that I missed. He was on the phone with his siding crew and the error was corrected the following day. I had an excellent experience with HW and I would recommend them to friends and family.

  Please avoid this company as much as possible!! They only provide excellent customer service until they have you locked into a contract and then they treat you like you are no body. I hired them around September 2019 for a roofing job/replacement. The sales guys showed great customer service and spoke highly of the company, and google reviews had them at over 4 star ratings... So I went with them. Roof was being replaced at my rental property, I received NO calls or notice that they had dropped off equipment and were going to start the project soon. Only reason I found out was happening to stop by randomly. After completion of project, garbage was left and gutters were missing. After several phone calls and two no shows, they finally showed up to replace my gutters. I was promised a FINAL WALK THROUGH, but NEVER received one. They literally just mailed me my "Warranty" and that was it. Never received a call that the project was completed or anything. It was the worst customer service I have ever experienced. After the hail storm in August 2023, I received a call that they needed to come "inspect" my roof as part of the "warranty". I gave them permission to come onto my property but asked them to call me with findings. That was in August, it is now October. I have called several times asking about the findings... and NO CALL BACK!!!!!!! Please do not waste your time or money on this joke of a company.

  
  

  ****UPDATE: Update to respond to owner. Number one: Yes my duplex was an older property, and yes I was made aware that an estimate can only do so much as you are only looking at what you can see, and not what is underneath. And yes, there was an additional $6000 or so after the job started, that is NOT my issue. My ISSUE was that the ONLY time I got ANY communication was when they NEEDED the extra FUNDS. Other than that there was radio silence. Number 2: Yes, it was a “COURTESY” inspection, for which when I received a phone call was ADVISED “as part of your warranty to uphold the warranty” an inspection needed to be completed. Which I gave CONSENT for someone to be on my property to complete said inspection, with the request to receive a call back on results. I was then promised someone will give me a call. Number 3. YES, JOE finally called me AFTER 3-4 ATTEMPTS of me calling. Number 4, yes my project was completed OVER 4 years AGO, but I will continue to update my review as needed. Getting your roofing completed is NOT just a one project deal. You are now committed to a company that claims is lifetime warranty… and after ALL THESE years customer service still sucks, and I will highly advise people to stay away from a company that only cares about your input or value until the project is complete. This is a lifetime warranty.

Your rental property was built in **** so it was over 119 years old at the time our teams managed the work. Sometimes with older homes, we catch surprises in how other contractors or building materials were used. When we create estimates, we can only bid what we can visibly see at the time of inspection. Change orders can happen as the building layers unfold. The scope of your project needed to change to meet building code and manufacturing specifications in which compliance is mandatory. We ensure we take appropriate action to maintain the structural integrity of the building while ensuring the service we offer is met with the utmost care. Additionally, the recent outreach you mention was our sales team connecting with past customers due to recent hail. We do this as a courtesy as we have many happy customers that request repeat business with us. *** confirmed he reached back out to let you know there was no visible damage thus no need to take any further action. Great news for you.We understand you continue to update your review but your original project was completed 4 years ago. At this point, your project is closed.   Hoffman Weber was easy to deal with. Their job foreman explained the contract and work to be done in great detail and was very good in managing the various teams that performed the work. The quality of materials and worksmanship was first rate. Special requests were handled readily. Upfront billing was handled in conjunction with insurance claims and final payment was not required until completion of the job.
  
  Considering the complexity of the job everything was handled with a minimum of fuss.

  I hired them in May of 2021. I have had many issues especially, with communication. I hired them to do my siding, garage utility door and bathroom window. They installed the bathroom window with a broken sash. To this day it still has not been replaced. They did have someone come out once, but it wasn't the right fit. The guy seamed really nice and he said he would get it reordered and installed asap. He said he would also give me a specific time so I didn't have to take another day off work to sit around and wait. I waited 2 months and I didn't hear back. Out of nowhere they had another company (who made the window) call me. I wanted to verify it and it took another 2 months to get someone out and it was wrong again. Needless to say, it's been 2 years and the work still isn't done. I should have never made the final payment; but they were relentless.
  When I hired them, they were told I had a timeline as I was going to be getting a grant from my city to help towards the costs. It was approximately. $7,000. It needed to be finished by November of 21. I was told it would be no problem. They didn't even start until 2022. They called me in Jan of 2022 wanting to do the work then. I didn't want them doing that in the winter, so I requested they start in May. It is now 5/19/23 and I am still waiting. The work that was done was not the quality I expected. It does look good from a distance.
