    STAY AWAY - Absolute THEIF!! In August 2021, we contacted *********************** of MY FATHER"S SON FENCE and agreed upon a fence estimate of $13,050.00 and paid half the deposit of $6525.00 on 8/18/2021. Over the course of the next 9 months, we kept in contact via text with updates regarding the fence materials. Since it was during COVID, we expected some delays however on 4/7/2022 his last reply was "I am heading there today to check on it. It has been delayed." Since then, we sent multiple texts asking for an update with no reply. On 7/15/2022 and 8/15/2022, we requested via text to cancel the project and get a refund of the deposit. No reply. On 8/26/2022, we sent a certified letter to **** asking to settle outside of court for a reduced deposit refund. No reply. Conciliation court was filed and **** was personally served on 11/8/2022 by a professional legal server to appear in court. He and his family LIED to the professional and said they did not know him. All of this is recorded with the Scott County Courts. In December 2022, he did not appear in court and a judgement was awarded to us. Because I see continued reviews about him, I decided to post here in the hopes that NO ONE uses him. As you can see, he DELIBERATELY takes money from people with no intention of completing the work. He is a THEIF! Also, there is an ACTIVE WARRANT for him: *********** vs *********************** Warrant #**-CV-22-5572-1 Date: 12/6/2022 - Failure to appear for Order to Show Cause Hearing/Contempt of Court This warrant is related to a DIFFERENT Judgement against **** someone else is trying to collect. We're next in line filing with the courts doing the lengthy process to collect on a judgement. So if you think he's a nice guy that will complete your project, don't fall for it. That's what we thought, too.

    I contracted **** to build a fence on my property in October 2022. It is now September 2023. I do not have a fence installed. I have taken **** to court over this matter, which he also did not show up for. He is now legally ordered to pay me back the downpayment he received from me, which he will still not return calls, texts, or emails to do so.Please do not use **** for any upcoming projects. I trusted him to follow through on his word, which he has failed to do. He completed a fence at a family member's home, which is how I contracted **** in the first place. In the beginning he was great to work with and very helpful. As soon as he received the downpayment to 'order materials' he disappeared. Trust the reviews on this site, as they all state the same general themes. Do not trust this man with your money or your projects. **** is here to con you of your money while wasting your time with false promises and unanswered calls. Use any other business and stay far away from this man. 1 star is far more than this snake deserves.

    Horrible experience. At the time we hired this company, they had good reviews on ******* Over the last few years, this business has clearly changed. Our fence project eventually was complete, only to find out that **** had built on our neighbor's property line. We requested that he come back and fix the problem and he never responded after dozens of phone calls, voicemails left, and emails.

    Contacted **** in Jan22. Accepted his estimate for repair of damaged fence. I thought this wouldnt be able to start until spring due to frozen ground. **** stated he could start the next week as he had a ********************* attachment for his post hole digger. He came the next day to collect half of the money- $1875. Cashed the check the same day. Did not show up for any work despite at least 2 promises to come the next week. That week has still not come and we are into the 3rd week of August. Have had no return response from him in at least 4 months despite my continued texting and voice mails. What a jerk. I have cancelled his service and have asked for my money returned. He does not respond to this request. Hoping BBB can help me with this situation. I rated one star as that was the lowest, it should be zero.
