1 starI hired Quick Shift Moving Inc. to move my household from San Francisco, CA to New York, NY. The company provided one of the worst service experiences I’ve ever encountered, involving lost property, damaged items, and incredibly poor customer service.
Specific issues:
• They lost a box containing sentimental and irreplaceable items, which remained missing for weeks.
• They failed to notify us in advance of the delivery window, despite claiming they would provide 24 hours’ notice.
• The crew did not take an inventory upon delivery, leading to the missing box being discovered only after they left.
• Several expensive items were damaged in transit, including:
• A 65” TV (cracked)
• A $700 automatic litter box (broken beyond repair)
• A Breville espresso machine (no longer functional)
• The delivery crew also failed to reassemble furniture or complete unpacking, despite assurances in the contract.
• Customer service representatives, especially “Sandy” and “Ricardo”, were rude, demeaning, and dismissive during our attempts to resolve the issue.
• The company has since offered minimal reimbursement based on fine print ($0.60 per pound per item), despite the substantial financial and emotional damage caused.
We made over 10 calls per day, submitted documentation (photos, inventory lists, videos), and were repeatedly ignored or strung along. The box was eventually located, but only after we pressured the company — and even then, it took additional days to deliver it.
Supporting documentation includes:
• Signed Bill of Lading
• Photos of damaged items
• Email chains with the company
• Inventory lists
Quick Shift Moving has demonstrated a clear lack of accountability, poor operational standards, and a pattern of customer neglect. I am seeking reasonable compensation for the lost and damaged items, as well as recognition of the significant inconvenience and distress this caused.Review fromkathryn m

Movers came yesterday (6/23) and did a great job carefully packaging and securing my items. Labeled everything clearly and then triple checked that everything was complete. This left me confident that my shipment would arrive safely to my sister’s home across country. Relief!

Ezze and Mo from Quick Shift Moving were great! Getting the items out was done very efficiently, with no hassle and no issues.
