My account with ********************** shows that I have a late fee for a payment received before the due date. If they posted the payment before the payment is due, who is is late. If payment is due the 15th of each month and the payment is posted on their site for the 12th & 14th ******************* ***** payments), how are they late!!To make it more confusing, they show the current amount due being my regular amount minus the past due amount, with the ***** due being my regular monthly payment amount. Wouldn't it be my current payment plus the past due amount (if it was late). The total amount due just shows my monthly payment that is due every month. They also show December 2023 as ineligible towards my PSLF count and I paid this payment before the due date also. To make it even more confusing, I paid payments in October, November, and December 2023 even though it was in forbearance and was to go towards my count, because they sent me statements showing the payments were due each month, and they don't show my payments, for these three months, but I have documentation that the funds were pulled from my account. I've sent multiple messages which they respond but don't answer my question. I have many many more complaints of this company!!

I have had to call MOHELA multiple times as I have sent them ***** dollars to to pay off student loans. They are not able to apply the payments correctly and do not know what they are doing. I am being strung along and have to worry that my money is not being applied to the payments the way I want them. No of the reps have been helpful and have not really done much for me, but promise it will get fixed. They are now trying to send me a refund? Like what kind of company is this. I can't even speak to a supervisor and have to have a ***** hour follow up? So you can call me whenever you are free, but if I am working and can't make the call I don't get help. You are a terrible company and I can't believe I can't trust you to apply a payment. So I just keep calling tell this gets fixed? This is terrible. I don't understand how you can be a student loan provider and not be able to apply payments when they were sent appropriately. Wow you guys are fantastic. Also ********* was rude and disrespectful to me on the phone. I hope you train your reps better instead of arguing with your customers. This is a joke and I am currently on hold trying to get a refund to be stopped. I will call you everyday until this is fixed. This is not fair!

They transitioned my account. They said it would take 2 weeks to do this. That in itself was unacceptable. They decided to take more than two weeks however- and waited until the day after my loan payment was due to complete my transition. Now I have a hit to my credit.Ive also been having issues with consolidation. I qualified. However mohelas systems misflagged me. They wont look over it again. I have to wait 6 months. Called mohela- I was told to make an account with Aidvantage to fix their isssue. Made an account- they dont even know I have loans. This servicer is beyond sketchy. I cant believe the government backs something like this.

I started to repay my loan in October and have been over paying every month.. I started to get late notices and then got a notice that i was months behind. i got two different invoices for the same account. i have been calling and calling only to be told that i was fine and all caught up. Then, they send me a notice saying i owe 0 dollars for March. Then, was told i was behind for February. I can't get anyone on the phone to explain where my money went. I have asked for a history of payments and have received nothing. Today was the last straw, i was on hold for two hours.. still have no answers.

This is Insane I waited on hold for 45 minutes because they are sending Information and that is wrong It says there is a past due amount and There isnt and When I got Through to someone and picked the prompt that was completely correct I spoke with someone who I could barely understand and he was read a script and wasnt listening to what I was saying then said he had to transfer me after all this he time I waited and Now I Have An 88 minute wait for No Apparent Reason This Is Ridiculous They Want paid But When There Is A Problem There is No One To Speak to ! And The his is Affecting My Credit when There Saying Im past due and I Have proof of all payments made but no one to speak with or look it up this is Extremely Unfair And I Can Not Seem To Get Anyone To Help Me , This System Have Doesnt Work, It seems like they put you on hold so you give up and they can overcharge you for something already paid its Disgusting

I think the federal government needs to reconsider its contract with MOHELA if it has any regard for student loan borrowers. I will be reaching out to several agencies to complain after this review.I have uploaded a PSLF forms for years at a time to make up for documents lost by MOHELA. I submitted a message. Its been weeks. No response except for an email that tells me to call their number which of course goes unanswered. Essentially, even as a federal employee with certifications for 5 years, MOHELA refuses to process my paperwork and refuses to actually provide any customer service. Why exactly are we using this loan service provider?

I uploaded a form for PSLF on January 3rd. I checked it every day for 6 weeks. Suddenly, it disappeared on February 17th, ****. I filed it as a correction for a previous form where I put the wrong date. I called them today and they have no record of that document ever being uploaded. This is obviously a computer glitch of some kind, but now I don't feel confident that they're going to handle the form again. This time. We have been waiting for forgiveness for a long time. We only have nine payments left and this last form will take us to the 120 needed. Despite their being a huge error on their part, they put me back at day one and I have to wait another 60 days! I'm definitely filing a formal complaint if in 60 days this is not handled. I will never do business with them again as long as I live. I have been advised. If this doesn't go through to get a lawyer or to contact the consumer finance bureau or the obunsman. I will do so. Of course the lady discouraged me.

Have to keep calling to get in forbearance. I am at 122 payments and have been waiting for PSLF to process. Each phone call is a 2 hour wait and its always a different answer. I just want my PSLF to process and put this behind me.

Does not respond to customer emails...ever. It is nuts that it is legal for a company to have thousands of dollars of **** but does not need to be held responsible for answering customer emails.
