    You may remember I contacted you regarding my attic fan. The fan was working before your guy came to install the closet lights and was not working when he was done. I had some difficulty getting in touch with you, but he finally came back to check the problem. He said “… there is power to the switch and fan, the fan motor is bad, maybe lighting hit your house…”. I decided to check this myself and there was NO power to the switch or fan. It’s bad enough not to know what you’re doing but then to fabricate a story to cover your mistake is not acceptable. An honest admission that he was not sure what the problem was would have saved me a lot of time and aggravation.
    Please find below the invoice for the repair and let me know how you would like to reimburse me.

    Work done:
    Found fan and switch had no power going to them, after checking all wires.
    Found hot lead wire going to switch was wired wrong at junction.
    Hot wire (dead wire) was hooked to a neutral wire in junction box, should have been hooked to hot wire.
    Custom said fan and switch worked before new lights install in closet. Fixed the wiring and switch and fan all work as before.
