      Son came out and wrote me a contract, he gave me a price for 4400 dollars and he wanted half down for a fence. I gave him a check in the the amount of $2200 on 04/23/2024. His name is *******************. I called him and stated that he was on a job that I would be next and he was a little behind. Then I called again and he stated that due to the weather he could not get the job done. So I called the following week . He informed me that he would get back with me next week which should have been this week. I called today and he is not answering. He cashed the check on 04/23/2024. He cashed the check the same day I signed the check. Community ********** in Bowling ****** Mo. *****. I want a refund in the amount of $2200 back.

      I received my refund from the business in the amount of $2200.00 and thanks to the BBB  this issue has been resolved.

      Deposit made on fence installation. Per the contract, the fence was to be installed. Did not show up to complete the job. Will not return calls or text and is not showing up.

      Another company had to finish project and fix all the mistakes made by Schlechta fence co.  Posts were not cemented in properly and crooked, rails were not straight, no tension wire on chain link portion of fence and wrong gate hardware was installed.  New company quoted price to fix and complete. Schlechta fence trespass and stole extra materials and is harassing for extra payment.  Attorney may have to get involved .  Schlechta fence did not have funds to purchase materials so prepaid $1,180.00 of 2nd payment so materials could be bought and project could move forward. He also asked for more money to buy nails. I declined and he abandoned job.
