    My name is ****** and Ive had food from **** kitchens restaurant a couple times prior to buying a large amount of food for a small lunch for my Coworkers. Me along with 2 other coworkers of mine decided to go with her restaurant because of how good I spoke on her food . So On October the 17th I initially inquired about 4 pans of food totaling over $400 dollars but we changed some things up and my order was only like $280 . fast forward to October 22nd she sent my invoice to pay Half of the order as a deposit. Then last minute I added on 2 individual orders of ****** cheesesteak eggrolls which brought my total to $322.59 . I paid the remaining balance the day before pick up on 11/06/23 and she texted me that night confirming the pick up at 11:30 am (at her restaurant). This woman did not specify a specific area to pick up (front/back..etc) so when I arrived ON TIME I parked in the front of the restaurant and when I walked up to the doors the lights were completely off and no one was in the building at all . I then decided to go back and sit in my car to try n text her to make sure we were meeting at her restaurant because no one was there. Some time goes by and she hasnt responded so I tried calling her and my call went straight to voicemail so I then texted her again and my next two messages werent delivering all of a sudden . So at that point I was worried I was getting scammed because my coworkers were also calling her Numbers and both were going straight to voicemail. I even went to her business instagram page to try and call her off of there and she wasnt answering those calls either. I waited outside her restaurant for a whole hour before my messages decided to finally deliver . I called her and she answered stating she was in THE BACK of her restaurant the whole time and the reason she wasnt responding because her phone died and she had a poor charger. But she mentioned how her co owner of the restaurant was with her and would meet me at the front of the restaurant to give me the food I ordered. If she had her business partner with her and her phone was dead why couldnt he have called me to inform me of where to go or that they were there in the first place ? When I met the man whose name I forgot in the restaurant he told me how they were there the whole time and he had the lights off on purpose to make it seem that no one was there .. which didnt make sense to me at all . My biggest issue with **** kitchen even though I got my food , is that I wait a whole hour after the scheduled time with no type of contact or updated info on whats going on I was left clueless thinking I got scammed .. I missed out on a extra hour of work because I work 30 mins from her restaurant and I was suppose to simply pick up my food then go to work . She offered to only refund me $26 out of the $322 I paid which is a slap in the face and she also said she would refund me that same evening but Has not yet . I did proceed to text her later on that evening saying ** appreciate more of a refund then $26 dollars and she ignored my message till this day and I have not received anything back . This lady makes food for celebrities and has a pretty successful thing going on so I wouldnt expect to have to go through all this hassle regardless of how much I spend every customer that inquired about her catering should get the same respect. Not to mention when my coworkers at My job (***************************) ate the food they werent even satisfied with how things tasted and how the chicken was over cooked . And Ive been nothing but respectful to her throughout this whole process but she isnt giving me any . How id like this resolved is a 50% refund because my coworkers that also put in on the purchase need a decent amount back in their pockets as well not just me .
