      Used car wash at least eight times in 2024 (per my cc reciepts. Normally does a great job with no problem except on 5/10/24 I believe something was set differently as certain brushes seemed to function different than I remember previously but figured I must be wrong. When I exited the wash they have mirrors and I realized my "genuine Ford" hood deflector was still attached on the left side but hanging down by grille on right side. Upon inspection I found three of the five plastic attachment points that attach it to the truck hood were broken and right clip was still attached but had pulled off the truck. I showed a worker who said "yeah we're not responsible for aftermarket parts but you can talk to a manager if you want". It wasn't aftermarket it was a genuine Ford hood deflector supplied with the truck and installed at the Ford Dealer I ordered truck from. I left and immediately went to Thoroughbred Ford parts dept approx a mile away and came right back with an estimate ($119.74 ttl) so I could prove it was not an aftermarket part but rather a genuine Ford part. I filed the claim and they took pictures of all four sides of the truck plus the part quote. The next day they called me back and said they aren't responsible for damage to aftermarket parts to which I responded it's not aftermarket, it was supplied with the new truck by Ford and installed by their dealer. Then she said "but it wasn't installed at the factory" to which I said so apparently you're going to keep moving the goal post....first it was we don't cover aftermarket parts and then after proving it's a genuine Ford part then it's based on where it was installed. I think someone didn't program the wash correctly (for my truck), it damaged a genuine Ford factory part, I gave them a chance to do the right thing and just replace what they broke and they won't. IT APPEARS THEY HAVE A SIGN THAT SAYS THEY AREN'T RESPONSIBLE FOR TEARING UP YOUR VEHICLE BECAUSE THEY DO! I'll never go back and BEWARE!

      The damage claim that Steve W******* filed was denied because the part he claims we broke is one of the things listed on our not liable for sign (Which are located at all three pay stations, as well as the help desk office, visible to all customers) Bug shields also known as bug deflector, and non factory parts or modifications. The bug shield is not a factory installed part, it's installed at the dealership. On May 10 2024 we washed 1,159 cars with no malfunctions with our tunnel equipment.
