I was bringing my child to an in home daycare. We had a few disagreements and her hours were not working well for us so we gave her our 4 week notice. (5 weeks in advance) she was told on Tuesday October 15th that we were giving our 4 week notice. She then stated that she doesn’t do middle of the week or partial tuition so we would have to wait until the next week and she needed it in writing. I had no issues with this and was as understanding as I could be. Our son went to daycare every day and she was very short and did not talk to us much. On November 5th he had a scratch on his left eye and I inquired about it but she said she wasn’t sure and she didn’t see one on his eye-I let it go kids are reckless and things happen. Then on November 7th when I brought him home and while changing him I noticed a scratch on his testicals and again I inquired if she may have scratched him by accident. She responded very unprofessionally and stated that she would tell me if she did that and also stated it was time for us to part ways and move on. When she said that I assumed she did not want him coming for his final week so I asked for the 200 back that we already paid for his final week and she said I was harassing her and she was going to block me.
