I believe they are overcharging me on the damages to this apartment. I have had issues with the property manager and decided to call the corporation on that issue because she got too personal when I first moved into the apartment. They resolved it, but ********* the property manager seems to hold grudges. I was told when I first moved into the apartment that the carpet was at least 3 years old and they did not replace it when I moved in. I don't think I should have to pay for any of the carpet. They have this promotion where if you renew with them, you get free carpet shampooing. I asked the property manager and she told me I had to pay for mine. Mind you this apartment is out of date, all appliances are out of date. This complex favors the ones who have been there for a long time and rewards them with new appliances, new carpet, new flooring. I only know this because the lady who lived below me stated that she just got a new microwave and stove. If the complex is going to renew appliances in certain apartments they need to do it for all and not the ones who they think deserve it. Overall, I refuse to believe that the charges are reasonable and will not pay when they took all my security deposit upon moving out. I also don't think I should be billed a 'final' water and sewer bill when I paid that along with my rent. I have done research and believe they are way overcharging me on this apartment and would like to get this resolved. The property manager refuses to talk to me in a respectful manner, nothing ever gets negotiated with her and has a poor attitude. Looking upon reviews of this place it seems as if I am not the only one with issues like this. I have reached out to corporate, their voicemail is full and I can't seem to get ahold of anyone.

    To whom it may concern,

                 We are responding to the complaint from ******** ************* that lived *** ****** **** ********* ** *****.

Upon move out on Nov. 15, 2022 we walked the unit and found pet damage everywhere. The kitchen floors were torn up,

the carpet had pet urine all over it and it was chewed on.

To get it ready for the next Resident we had to have all of the flooring taken out and stainsealed over the concrete.

It had to have all new pad, carpet and flooring put in throughout the entire unit.

Her deposit was kept and she was charged appropriately for the damage.

    We have attached pictures.

We have emailed and called Ms. ************* several times with no response.

Please feel free to reach out with any further questions.

    Thank you,

I am rejecting this response because:

The carpet needed to be removed and replaced anyways due to it being several years old. I was told when I moved in that the previous renter before me had dogs and the carpet was not replaced. I don't believe I should be paying for all of the cost of the carpet due to previous renters having pets. I still REFUSE to believe that the statement and the price for each item is accurate because that carpet has not been replaced for several years and vinyl for flooring especially the one that is used in that apartment is not expensive. No where in that statement reply the manager talks about the blinds or final bill for the sewer and water, I paid a prorated rent that included the water and sewer, I should not have to pay double the amount originally paid for upon move out when I paid for everything the FIRST OF THE MONTH. If you check on their ****** reviews, it seems I am not the only person who has had issues dealing with the property manager. ********* refuses to be in the wrong because I have called corporate on her due to her getting personal on the phone she's unprofessional and lacks respect for others. Overall, that cost for the final move out needs to be brought down or negotiated into something REASONABLE because that unit needed to be upgraded anyways before I even moved in.

    Sincerely,
