      I went yesterday with my wife to buy stuff to make a meal for her birthday. Sadly we was over limit and had take an item off. How ever this where the problem started. They had to cancel everything instead just taking the items off. I was using more then one pre paid visa, how ever all them was refunded but one. They couldn't prove in store they refunded that one like they was able prove the other cards. Just left me after over hour saying nothing I can they can. Even after saying they don't know they refunded that card or not. After spending a whole day on the phone the prepaid visa people they in fact told me I was not refunded at all

      Hello,

       

      I wanted to give an update to the BBB on this complaint. We are still working with the gift card company to confirm the $100 was not put back on the card. Once this is confirmed we will issue a $100 refund. I have contacted the customer to collect information. I have attempted twice to collect more information required from our accounting team. I would like to have this resolved in the next 5 business days.

      They never contacted we twice and only called me once. Called back the person at the corporate office. Had to repeat my story over and over to this person. Gave the person the card info and after telling my story over and over for about 20 or so mins the person said he would get with me asap on the matter. But never did but instead said they tired to contact me twice on the matter and no response.  It was at the price cutters **** S ******** **** ************ ** *****, The day was noted earlier and was in the afternoon, the store manger, and seemed general manger was involved. They confirmed themselves it was never refunded but nothing they can do at this point. Told me to contact my bank. But since it was prepaid visa card they told me as well to kick rocks.

      When I received the complaint, I contacted the customer and got a better understanding of what happened. I explained to him I would investigate the issue and refund him the $100 when I verify that it was not completed during the transaction. I collected the gift card information and gave it to our accounting department so they can investigate the transaction. I've also coached the cashiers and managers at this location to prevent this from happening again. They needed the security code on the back which I did not have. I have attempted to contact Mr. *********** with emails and 2 voicemails have not received a call back. Due to the high dollar amount. I wanted to verify the transaction. Please let me know if there is anything else you need me to do to close this complaint. ************ ******* ****
