    Terrible customer service, completely regret that I paid for the premium version to be able to have the live chat/phone support. First of all, the live chat function is all but impossible to find, and every single customer service link except for one link actually takes you to the live chat - all other links take you to the standard page where they ask you to fill out a request form. Secondly, the person I chatted with when I finally connected on live chat was all but blaming me for filing my taxes on the last day and not having common knowledge, which was very rude and unhelpful in finding a resolution. Please consider changing your webpage design to make the live chat function more accessible to the premium subscribers.

    I’m leaving one star because no stars isn’t an option… I’ve used lot for years this is the first year I paid for the premium version. On the premium version it states that you will have support via telephone or live chat… I had questions to which I called the number, it rang and rang and when it did finally answer it was a voice recording and then hung up on me. So I try the live chat to which I’m talked circles to… The first person I talked to was Kaylyn she didn’t know what was going on so I was transferred to Shelly who was extremely rude and kept telling me I was wrong (well duh why do you think I’m asking for support a single question) She then tells me she’s a softwear tech not tax support well why is it selling you support for “extra money” if it’s NOT support?

We are unable to provide tax advice. We hope you consider filing with us again. There are several ways to contact with our Customer Service team. We offer Live Chat, Email, and Phone Support. Chat hours are Monday - Sunday from January 15th thru April 18th from 8am to 10pm CST. During off tax season, chat hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm CST. E-mail and phone support are offered year-round. Phone support hours are Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm CST. *Please note - phone support is limited and very busy during peak filing season. All options and information for customer service can be found in the Customer Service Tab located at the top of any page in our site.

    OLT (OnLineTaxes) is the ONLY tax software that allows me to file out-of-state residency forms I need in every state where I do business. PLUS, instead of charging $532 for TurboTax to file in 7 states, OLT.com only charges $69.PLUS the customer support is available at ANY point from ANY screen, and the customer support people are knowledgeable, helpful, and able to research and answer questions quickly.Why would ANYONE get RIPPED OFF by INTUIT/TURBO TAX when OLT is easier, cheaper, more trustworthy, faster and has better support?My advice: Pay the $7 for support up front -- it's worth the investment.

    This business is absolutely terrible. I came directly from the *** site and made a profile. Once I made a profile and tried to login, the website would NOT allow me to login. It altered my email entry so that it would not match. I thought this site was supposed to reputable. I have photos and videos of the website changing my information to prevent me from logging in. I want my information to be completed deleted from this site or I will be forced to seek further action. DO NOT USE THIS SITE!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT IS A SCAM!!!!!!!!

    My Father- in-Law wanted to know why he was charged with a fee from *** for his 2022 taxes. His AGI was well under the ***** listed and he qualified for free federal. He used the *** Free File page to access the *** offer. His income before adjustments was over the thresh hold but below after adjustments. The offer states that if you qualify for federal then you also will qualify for the state. Just curious as to what I should say to him.

    Hello. If you contact customer service, they should be able to process a refund for your father-in-law for qualifying for free-file. There are instances where the customer uses OLT to file, but they don't come directly from the *** site, so it doesn't trigger the free file option. We are sorry for any inconvenience.     Looking for free service for my 95 year old veteran father in law. Chose this cause it was free under a certain net amount of money that was well below dad's income. However, my fault, i didn't notice they charged if the Net income was less than 17k (not exact number, but close). Sure enough when my dads net income was barely less than that, a charge of **** showed up. After working on it for an hour, I decided just to pay, but felt scammed and tricked. Why? Those numbers make no sense at all, unless they know the majority of retirees will have less net income than that. and that they will not discover it until they have spent as much time on it as I did and still pay. Disgraceful.

    Hello,Free File is made up of 8 different companies. Between the 8 companies, the entire range of $73,000 or less is covered. Any single company is not allowed to cover the entire range of $73,000 or less, we are forced to narrow down the offer. Ours is based on AGI, others restrict based on age, location, AGI, etc. We do offer to **** these situations free as a courtesy if contacted.
