Initially we were told the typical price for a standard cleaning which was $395. We were aware that we may need to upgrade to the advanced cleaning for an additional $250. With the information above we decided to move forward. We paid the non refundable $225 fee. After the inspection we were given three options for three separate services. 1. $4,500 (for the cleaning and restoration) 2.$1,300 (for UV lights) 3.$3,500 (for sealant) OUTRAGEOUS!!! With a huge disconnect in transparency. I then asked to just have the standard cleaning and was denied service. Which resulted in me telling them to pack their stuff and leave. IT GETS BETTER!!!Two hours after ***** left I received a text stating,Hey man. I just re crunched some numbers. I can take care of the cleaning and restoration for you for $3000 even if that helps. I promise Im not getting rich from that lol. But that would be the lowest I can go with all the paint I need to use. - ***** *********** Outcome: We did not move forward with Hypers outrageously over priced services!

The owner is the worst. I reached out for a quote a couple of years ago and was berated for asking what was included with their price. He told me I was broke and he didnt even want me as a customer.

The cleaning work itself was very effective, and it is evident that these guys know what they are doing. That being said, I need to address their pricing strategy, which is why I gave them only three stars. It all started with a thorough email exchange where I provided detailed information about my house, aiming at getting the most accurate quote possible upfront. By the end of that, they gave me a quote for a standard cleaning. One thing that felt odd during this process was the upfront payment requirement and their aggressive cancellation policy. At first, this felt weird, but eventually, I understood the reasons behind it. After completing the inspection, I was presented with three service alternatives (immediate payment required), the first of which was almost 10X the amount of the initial quote for the standard service. Yes, you read that correctly. The other two options were at least 20% higher each. I know theyre going to say, The quote was for a standard service, and the other items are optional. Well, yes and no. For instance, I was told that one of the procedures (a costly one) wasnt optional, as NADCA forces us to do it based on some findings in the inspection, like mold. That explains the strict cancellation policy. NADCA is something like the **************************** I wonder about the legality of this statement, but for the interest of my familys wellbeing, I decided to do it.But once again, its not about that; it's about the lack of transparency and the "make-the-sale-at-all-costs" approach disguised as sales tenacity that many of these companies are proud of exhibiting. It blows my mind that, in this day and age, there are still many businesses focusing more on customer acquisition than on customer retention and loyalty. Would I recommend this company? Im just not sure, and thats the point. Had they been more transparent and not left this bittersweet flavor after what turned out to be a technically good service, I would.

I recently had Hyper out to Clean the air ducts at our home and it was a horrible experience. They gave us one price on the phone and then when they got to our house, they tried to tell us we had mold in our vents and our they need to do a Mold clean which was $1,800, we were originally bid $595. We had just purchased the house and had two mold inspections that conclude the house was safe of mold. ***** the owner was the worst part as he originally came under the impression as "the inspector" and concluded we needed the mold cleaning. He pressured the mold cleaning extremely and made us very unconfutable. As soon as he felt we were not budging on switching to the more expense service ***** reveled he was the owner, and he became very unfriendly and unprofessional. When this occurred, we contemplated canceling the service all together, which we were then rudely informed that if we canceled service, we would not be refunded our $200 deposit and then we could be subject to a cancelation fee as well. In the end we ended up having them complete the basic clean package at $595 as we figured some service for the money already spent was better than nothing. Upon completion we checked the vents and when we ran a hand over the interior of the vents, they came up covered in dirt and dust. This company completely took advantage of us, and I cannot recommend enough that no one else us them as this was a complete waste of time and money.

My husband arranged for our ducts to be cleaned including the Advanced air duct cleaning UPGRADE for a total of $895. He let the scheduler know he would be out on business but our (27 year old) daughter would be home which my husband was told was fine. *****, the owner, arrived and did his inspection which included dismantling part of our furnace. He began the review of inspection with our 27 y/o dtr bringing up some significant concerns. They contacted my husband via phone. My husband asked some questions but ultimately requested we continue with the pre-arranged cleaning. ***** was requesting an additional $2,800 of cleaning to address what his inspection revealed. My husband declined. ***** would not move forward without a signed consent passing on the additional recommended $2,800 cleaning. He would not accept a signature from our 27 y/o dtr nor a faxed or scanned signature from my husband. My husband got very frustrated at this point as our furnace was dismantled, its 30 degrees and we have an immunocompromised child coming home from the hospital. ***** stormed out and told our dtr its about to get real cold in here. My husband was able to get ***** on the phone later in the day. My husband apologized for losing his cool and asked if ***** would at least come back and put back together the furnace. ***** said he would if we paid a $375 cancellation fee. We did not agree. Later our dtr put a ******** post up sharing our experience. ***** sent a message to my husband threatening to *** us and to reach out to everyone we know including his employer. He shared a recording of the 15 seconds my husband got mad but not the 8 minutes my husband tried to explain we didnt want the extra cleaning. HYPER/***** doesnt allow reviews on his FB page but there are many YELP reviews with similar experiences. So my husband got home tonight, its 30 degrees outside and he cannot re-assemble the furnace. We will have to call a HVAC company in the morning.

Thank you for your feedback. I would like to address your concerns regarding our recent interaction. Our team visited your home for an air duct cleaning and HVAC inspection, concerned about possible mold growth. Unfortunately, you were not present during the inspection, and our communication was handled over the phone with your daughter managing the project on-site.During our phone conversation, which was recorded for quality assurance as per our standard practice, we attempted to discuss our inspection findings. Regrettably, the conversation escalated quickly, and your responses became hostile and belittling. For the safety and respect of our team, we decided to terminate our services under these circumstances. We want to clarify that we did not intentionally leave your furnace dismantled. Our intention was to reassemble it upon payment of the cancellation fee, as per our policy. However, your request for us to leave the premises immediately led to the current situation. At HYPER, we prioritize the well-being of our community and have served over ****** customers in our 15-year tenure. While we strive for excellence, we understand that it is impossible to please everyone and that misunderstandings can occur. We regret that this incident has led to a series of negative reviews across various platforms. We invite anyone with concerns or questions to contact our office at ************ to discuss this matter further or to listen to the recorded conversation for a clearer understanding of the situation. We are grateful for the continued support from our community and are committed to providing the best service possible. Please remember that there are always two sides to every story, and we are always here to address any issues or concerns.Sincerely,*************************************** Founder, HYPER
