1 starHorrible experience! Reserved online and even called customer service to confirm size of vehicle availability. When we were dropped off, they wouldnt give us the vehicle because it was reserved prior. They could not find ** a vehicle to seat 7. There were multiple enterprises within an hour radius.. We were at ****** ************ office would not call back. Stuck and given the run around .Review fromBeth M

5 starsEveryone at Enterprise at the *************** was phenomenal. Woman at the counter who took care of us 5/18/23 at 11;00 was really kind. Even the nice lady checking ** out of the garage was nice. We had a wide range of vehicles to choose from. Drop off was equally smooth. A really nice experience. We will use them again!Review fromKendetric B

1 starWhen theres a problem with a vehicle, they will attempt stall tactics in order to have you say in that vehicle. If its not the same place you rented from, they ask where did you rent if its not from them they always say they dont have anything available even though youre looking at vehicles that should be available. Im now driving the worst vehicle Ive ever driven because they didnt want to switch it out. Car veers to the left and it shakes when you go over 60 mphReview fromJolene D

1 starI rented a car from your Lebanon, TN office. The staff was incredible and my complaint has nothing to do with them. The nature of your procedure for claim process is unethical. I drove a vehicle and opted to not get your insurance do to having my own. The windshield cracked from either cold weather or being set in wrong. There was NO rock damage. As a rental car company, I am certain you have contracts with a windshield repair company that likely came to the local lot and replaced the windshield at a cheaper cost I could find. Local quotes, if I was to replace it was at MOST $450. I am being charged $549 by Enterprise. It doesn’t meet my insurance deductible. I have simply been requesting to see a receipt from where Enterprise paid for the windshield with their partnered company and I’d be glad to pay it. A receipt is not being shown to me. This leads me to believe as a consumer, there are hidden cost and your company is changing whatever they please.
I’m being threatened with “this will go on your credit if you don’t pay.”
I believe in paying what is owed for the damage, even though the damage was not caused by me. It was caused while I was driving it by weather or faulty install. Also, I am not being shown a receipt with the exact amount from the repair. Show me the receipt and I will pay it. Don’t threaten my credit because I don’t want to pay a seemingly fabricated amount.
Here is the reference number.
Claim number: ******** I would also like it known the claims representative has been very kind and is just following company procedure. When I ask, her response is very “company standard”.
The company is unethical, the employees have been good.Review fromMadison B

1 starI reserved a rental for a 3row suv. When I arrived at the ************ ** location I was told they did not have one for me. I never received a call or a voicemail to inform me of that. At first they didnt want to even help. It was my husband who suggested that they call another location to have one picked up. They had one an hr away in ********** ** and received a minivan. All good right. Nope. When I got home the check engine came one. I called roadside assistance and was informed Id need to take the vehicle to the closest open Enterprise. That was about an hr and half away and everything was closed by that point. The problem, the vehicle isnt drivable. It would just shut off on me and I didnt feel safe driving it that distance. I called the next day. A Saturday btw. The Enterprise in Hurricane which was the closest open one was only open until 12. I started a grueling experience starting at **** Saturday morning. I was told that they had a vehicle for me and a tow would be on the way. A few hours later I received a call asking if a 5person vehicle would work. That call was not even made by the business no it was made by the very nice tow driver. I had to inform him that I rented a 6/7 person vehicle because I have that many people. Needless to say. That didnt happen. So I have been on the phone between customer service and roadside assistance and am still stuck 12hrs later. They ended up Pending cancel my current rental which didnt allow anyone else to help me. Why the cancel I have no idea. But road side cant help because of it and customer service cant help because its a roadside issue. After talking to about 10 representatives I was finally escalated to management. But its the weekend so no one has called me back. I have been stranded with no vehicle and no one is helping me. This is NOT how you do business. I cant be the only person this has happened too. They should have better procedures and aid. I will NEVER rent from them again.Review fromJo T

1 starCar renters beware. Be very careful if you rent a car with preexisting damage from Enterprise. Regardless of what the agent says about documenting the damage on the contract, you must double-check that it actually is documented.I rented a car that already was damaged and the agent stated that they documented the damage on the rental contract but did not. I took pictures of the damage just in case. After returning the car, Enterprises Damage Recovery Unit (DRU) filed a claim against me for the repairs. Even though the local assistant manager (*********, **) said the damage was documented on previous rental agreements (before my rental) and I provided a picture of the damage taken prior to me taking the car, DRU continues to pursue the claim. It has been a huge hassle, stress, and time sink to deal with for no reason other than Enterprise hasnt repaired the car and wants to stick a customer with the bill.My parents had a similar experience with Enterprises DRU recently: two months after they returned their rental, DRU filed a claim against them for a check engine light. There was no light on during their rental. How many times was that car rented after my parents returned it?Interestingly, for that one rental, my parents exchanged cars twice due to poor maintenance and repairs required on Enterprises rental cars. In connection with one of those exchanges, Enterprise actually told my parents to take the rental car to ********* and have it repaired under Enterprises account. Entitled much My experience was with the ********* and ********** ********** Enterprise stores while my parents experience was in ****** *****. Appears to be a systemic issue at Enterprise and their DRU and their entitlement when it comes to their customers. The people at the stores are nice but Enterprise as a company is reptilian and entitled.Review fromClevon C

1 starWent to this racist location to pick up a car. Me and my wife we’re leaving town for my daughters graduation. These people almost screwed up our trip thank goodness for *****… I should’ve known by being in Gastonia, which is Trump country. Dealt with a very racist nasty guy named Josh, who claim he was the manager. This company doesn’t have respect or value of their customers.

1 starIve had THE WORST experience with Enterprise the last 2 times getting a rental vehicle through them. The 1st time I needed a car because of a car accident and totaling my vehicle. I had a reservation for a rental and when I showed up they had given the vehicle to the customer ahead of me. They said I had arrived late (by 15 minutes) and that there wasnt anything they could do, they didnt have any other vehicles and they had no idea when the next one would be available. The rental was ALREADY PAID FOR. My question to them was, why hadnt they called or something? I had literally just spoken to them an hour ago. So I was left having to go out and buy a vehicle that day. This time I was given a vehicle that end up having the check engine light come on and a warning about the coolant on my drive to work. I called the closest location and they swapped out the vehicle. I brought back the original rental with a full tank and was given a replacement with an empty tank of gas. The new once also wasnt cleaned yet. All that was fine because I was on my way to work, and the guy said it would be noted on the paperwork. Well, my paperwork has nothing about any of that on it so Im trying to to reach the branch I actually rented from to speak to them about my returning the vehicle and verifying that they have that the gas was on E and that I couldnt make it before close, hoping to be able to just drop it off, but cant get a single person on the phone. I sat for nearly 2 hours on hold and finally hung up. So now, I have to drive over there again when I ******* minutes from where I have to return the car. I have to again take time off of work, which is 1 hr and 45 min from the Enterprise locationso Im looking at 2 days of nearly 3 hour drive time that should have only been 1. I called customer service and the lady was rude, snarky and asked what exactly do you want me to do? The location is the one to address your issues. RIGHT, BUT THEY WONT ANSWER THE *********Review fromMarcel M

1 starNot even a star deserved.says: ***************** made reservation under my name at ********** branch. When we showed up, they claimed no cars available, and its going to be 2-3 hours, but theyll call **. After 3 hours and no call, weve called the branch, and theyve told ** the car was waiting for us. We showed up, and theyve told ** the phone person made a mistake, and we are out of luck. We were NOT the only ones on that situation. Then the frond desk girl, very rude, says shes going to cancel our reservation. We told her NO, you will fulfill the contract. She cancel it anyway, then placed a derogatory ****** under my name , on their internal communication. Very very rude and unprofessional young person.Review fromTerrence F

1 starI rented a car because someone had crashed into me, so my car was out for repair at ******* ********* in Hollywood. When my car was repaired and I went to Caliber to pick it up, I brought someone with me, so we could then drive the rental back to Enterprise on Hillhurst. Someone at Caliber told me just to leave the car there and they would get it back to Enterprise. I trusted he was correct and that Enterprise could trust Caliber, its agent. I knew I had minor damage to the front lip of the car, which I had documented with photos and a report at my office where I'd done this little damage, costing about $100. I also had a witness of the condition of the car when I brought it to Caliber.
After I returned the car I got a notification from Enterprise that the rental had over $900 in damage!!! Obviously, this happened on Caliber's watch, but Enterprise wouldn't stand up for their agent, instead billing me for $900 and threatening to send the account to collections if I did not pay. I offered to pay for the damage I caused, in the full amount shown on their invoice (a little over $100) but they wouldn't accept that. They want to charge me $900. I don't know who is the bad guy-- Enterprise or Caliber. But it's not me. BE SURE TO TAKE PHOTOS OF THE CONDITION OF ANY CAR YOU LEAVE AT CALIBER BECAUSE ENTERPRISE WILL CHARGE YOU FOR DAMAGE THAT CALIBER WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR.
