Do not use under any circumstances. They came out a hour and half after the latest time they said they would arrive. They told us over the phone two separate times that it was 100 dollars for an inspection of both of our fireplaces because they share on chimney and ones gas and didnt even need the inspections. When they arrive they do their inspection which consisted of shining a phone flashlight and observing just the fireplace. Because our chimney curves it is impossible to see more than a few inches up. It took 2 minutes and he was done, went up stairs checked the gas one and told us the exact same thing. Then he charged us 100 dollars for EACH fireplace. Then quoted us 400 dollars for a cleaning! When we called to complain that we didnt even get a proper inspection, they never even went on the roof! The owner basically called us liars and said he knew what he said and that we only got a flash light inspection because we only paid for a tier 1 inspection. There was never any indication of tiers or we would have never accepted it. and then after arguing and ******* at us he hung up on us.

Received messages indicating we could schedule online and I schedule 4 appointments and after no one showed up the third time, I called them. I had to find a local number as the number I called no one answered. They said they did not see me make the appointments. So I schedule with them.

Terrible. Broke my wood stove and refused to remedy the situation. Management was supposed to consider fixing the wood stove without charge since they broke it, but management never returned calls.

This company is a scam. We were told a sweep and inspection would be $99, but they intentionally omit information so a tech shows up and tries to coax you into spending 3-4x the money. When he arrived, he looked into the chimney and told us our cost would be close to $400. We said we couldn't spend that, and he told us we had to pay $99 for the inspection, no matter what. His inspection was sticking his head into the chimney box, then flying a drone over the roof and taking a few photos. I understand that his time has value, but we didn't get what we were told we'd get. We then spent half an hour listening to the recording of my husbands call with A1, arguing about who was right. My husband noticed on the tech's phone that there was a breakdown of costs and services - a breakdown he never received via text or email, or he wouldn't have kept the appointment. We sat here with the tech, waiting for a call from a manager and/or the guy that scheduled the appointment, and that call hasn't happened. No address is listed on their website, and I guess because there is no associated business address, there are no ****** reviews. Somehow, though, their website claims 5.0 stars based on thousands of reviews, but it's just a jpeg image that doesn't link to anything. However, I found them on ******** and ALL of the comments on their (many) posts are complaints about the company. Would rather give them 0 stars, but I'm forced to give them 1.

We made an appointment with a range of time for them to show. I did receive a call stating they were going to be late & when I told them I wanted to reschedule, they were put out. When they showed up for the appointment, the person went on top of our roof, took pictures and tried to get us to buy a "package" that included work needed, inspection and discounts on further inspections to the sum of $2700. We asked for a written bid and told him we wanted to think about. At that point, he asked, "why?" My response was NOT what he wanted to hear and then he said he could probably give us a discount. My spouse and I did not like the high pressure tactics. We paid $165 for an "inspection" with no cleaning. We called another company that did an inspection and cleaning for $180 and said the items we were told about by A1 were not a functional problem. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM!!!
