      This is a company that joined COVID pray on veterans. Elderly people think they are part of the v.A and they are not. They They knew something was going on with a health care provider To take care of my uncle even though they knew there was something going on, they never contacted the v.A and they are allowed a bill to build up.Even though he never got the money, he never got the services.They didn't do their due diligence and trying to find out why they couldn't get this money.The health care worker has been arrested which i'm following this complaint against them because they Requested the funds for service They knew he didn't get But they Still pursued payment.The department of aging is involved and now the police are involved, It's a shame that they have got another veterans.But most elderly people do not have a voice.***************** was their client

      Dispute Resolution Department,
      The purpose of this letter is to respond to the above-mentioned complaint. We appreciate the opportunity to respond.
      We would like to confirm that case #******** did receive coordination services at AVCC in accordance with a signed contract dated July 17, 2020. AVCC did successfully assist the client in applying for and receiving a $1,911.00 per month benefit from Veterans Administration and starting home care services for a total of 73 hours per month.
      AVCC terminated services with the client due to nonpayment for home care services and lack of communication resulting in our inability to coordinate home care services and the benefit administered by Veterans Administration.
      Complaint Background
      From what we can determine from the complaint, the clients niece is stating that the client did not receive home care or any money from the ***
       The client did receive home care from 11/06/2020 to 06/23/2023 through a local home care provider. During this time, the client reported his home care services were going good during monthly telephone check in.
      On 04/06/2023 the monthly payment for home care services was not paid. The client did not respond to multiple attempts of contact to check in.
      The file was closed on 06/23/2023 due to nonpayment and no contact.
      The complaint makes statements about a worker being arrested and disputed funds in the amount of $28,000.00.
      On 07/25/2023, AVCC was contacted by clients niece (person who filed the complaint) stating that the client had money that was taken by a God child who had been his caregiver for many years and his house was not clean. We updated the niece that we closed the file, and we have not been providing any services to the client. She thanked us and stated that she was filing a police report and would be contacting the company that sent in the caregiver. We are not aware of any further information.

      AVCC does not owe any funds to this account and treated the client in a fair and appropriate manner. We are not aware of any police reports or outstanding billing.

      Despite registering for the National Do Not Call list, I have received multiple dozens of calls from American Veterans Care from multiple dozens of different phone numbers. No message is left but when I call the number back I get a voicemail saying I've reached American Veterans Care Assn. This organization is in blatant violation of the National Do Not Call registry and uses multiple dozens of phone numbers to contact people like me. Please ensure they stop calling my number.

      above-mentioned complaint. We appreciate the opportunity to respond.
      AVCC, LLC conducted a search using the name, email and phone
      number for the client who issued the complaint in report #********. We have no
      record of this client.
      AVCC, LLC helps Veterans and surviving spouses who may be eligible
      for the Basic Pension with aid and attendance benefit at Veterans
      Administration and would like home care services. We have a CRM system listing
      all client contacts at our company. We have no record of this client.
      Furthermore, AVCC places phone calls to clients that have contacted AVCC, LLC
      requesting a call from us or clients who have given consent to their home care
      provider for us to call. We do not cold call.
      The complaint stated the company name of American Veterans
      Care Assn. We are AVCC, LLC DBA American Veterans Care Connection.
      AVCC, LLC has no record of this client.
